hey jus a quick qus you know the cash mini isa' s when u earn interest does that count towards ur next tax year so if u earnt £1000 lets say in interest you can only pay £2000? (hope this is making sense)?! and if it doesnt count towards ur next £3000 what do u do with ur interest leave it in there and then still add ur £3000 every year?! thanx

  • Hi there,
No you can put in £3,000...So if this year you received £100 interest....You can still put £3000 in your next tax year, you are not limited to £2,900

    Hope that makes sense

Quick question, who max's out their ISA immediately from funds already saved up? and who saves into their ISA as a regular payment throughout the year?

I tend to max it instantly in April. Then forget about it.

I tend to max out. After that I usually look for a regualr savers account for high interest although this year as thinking of house buying not doing this as need easy access to money.
