Sounds like another book I have to go and find. How will I explain the brown wrapping to my kids? If I dangle the book upside down, will it open at the good bits? Eeuuuk. That definitely wouldn't happen with a Kind!e. :rotfl:

The Queen put me about yesterday as well, couldn't get to bank, had to go long way home and then the kids pestered me as to why I hadn't taken them to see her! I had to remind them they only saw the Flotilla 10 days ago and not to be so ungrateful.
And I must keep an eye out for that book, although I don't have a kindle to be discreet about it.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

:j:j:j:j Well, I went to bed last night leaving 2 chicks in the nest and overnight they've turned into 2 little birds :j:j:j:j. Both have a really distinctive Adam Ant stripe and Martin is walking about and stretching his wings
.
Well done mum & dad :T.

Morning, just stopping by to see how the book is going? I have worked my way through a Patricia Cornwell which was a bit gruesome in places.
Sun is out but sky is is a watery grey not blue so no clue what the day will end up like. I have pulled some garlic up (a bit late) and I put it on the shed roof to dry on Sunday in the sun, promptly forgot about it, so I am now hoping it dries, or I need to make a batch of ginger and garlic for the freezer

:whistle:I may have finished it :whistle:I may be on the 2nd book
Hmmmm...... I did kinda enjoy it - it did not deliver what it promised, which is probably just as well as I have led a sheltered life. I won't comment further until we have all read all 3 :rotfl:.

I was too curious so decided to buy it on Kindle as it was only £2.60. Sorry to say I didn't enjoy it that much, the writing was rubbish and the plot very thin. The old critic in me gives it 2/5. Hope everyone else is enjoying it more than I am!0

Certainly did not deliver what it looked like it would. Am on 2nd book though :rotfl:. I would have liked more about the relationship - how she feels she has let him down etc - rather than 'Oh my' etc. Best read the 3rd book so I can form an overall opinion.
DD's birthday today. 27 . She's nearly as old as I think I am :rotfl:.
One tenant hasn't paid rent so need to pop in on way to station later. This is one of the reasons I don't want to keep the houses on when we go to Spain.
Hope you all have exciting plans this weekend. I will mostly be setting a world record.
