Well, exciting day here, If I say I spent £2 on a flag for DS's gf and £2 on an inflatable torch for me I'm sure you can guess where I've been :j. I thought it was great, even if there was constant rain/drizzle :(. Paralympics tickets also turned up so really looking forward to it now :D.

Letter came from Egg re drawback. That's letter, not letters. Phoned them up, they'd only ordered it on one account :wall:. Can only ask for the drawback once I've had both letters.

Mortgage payments gone out. Just under 126k on joint mortgages, £5,843 on own btl :j. May even meet the MFiT challenge, pretty miraculous as I've done most of it on my own :).

Small quidco payment coming but that will be it until after holiday :(.

    11 sleeps :D.
Going to get weighed, day about to go downhill :o. Too much :EasterBunand :spam: :rotfl:.

    Thanks Tilly :D.

Managed to lose 1/2 lb as well (that'd be the lack of a vest top under my tunic :rotfl:). Seriously need to motivate myself though - have discovered I have hardly any photos of myself (not just at my heaviest, I just hate having my photo taken :o), have asked a friend to send me one to stick on the fridge :A.

Good luck with the weight loss, I was following slimming world had lost 10lb until baby ammonite took residence in my tummy (had about 3 stone to lose so a mere drop in the ocean) Now I'm trying to limit the gain but hard when not following a diet (other than the crisp and sweets diet :D).

Well done for getting into the 5's !:D

Can't stand this flaming weather . Ran the numbers again, best I can come up with is get level with Mr GG Jan - Feb 16. At that stage there will be around 17k os on mortgages so looking at Aug 16 with us both paying off. Can't get it any earlier :(. Unless I sell my body. A lot. Which may knock a week or 2 off .

  • Hi GG, your post did make me laugh, reminded me of lots of conversations with my sister.

Really good news on the mortgage front and August 2016 is not far away- if we keep telling each that, then I am sure we will be fine :)

What is really scary is youngest Tilly will be driving shortly after we become MF - I will need the extra money to pay for car insurance :rotfl:

Edit: weather awful, pouring pouring pouring

    Night Tilly x

Poorly GG :(. Don't really know what is wrong - like a v bad cold but without the runny nose & sneezing, achy & hot/cold & v weak. Off work yesterday & today, on the plus side, saved me petrol money.....

Spent on new lights for living room. Been looking on & off for a while, found some on Amazon. When I was ordering it said there were only 2 wall lights left - just checked and it actually is out of stock so just in time. £70 for ceiling light & 2 wall lights, less than 1/2 the others I was looking at & better than the ones I wanted which would have been over £400 .Hopefully I will be able to fit them myself, been a while since I did it but basically it's a big plug, right :o.

7 sleeps till holiday :T, well, 6 really as staying in hotel at Gatwick next Thurs :D.

Tenant has been offered a new kitchen, still in box, not sure what the story is but basically someone bought it then changed their mind . Seeing it tomorrow and will see if we can get it to fit. Would have to pay for fitting & worktops etc. Can't afford it really but existing kitchen probably 30 years old so worth it if workable :D.
