So, I leave you in charge of Martin & Martina & what happens? One has to get rescued from a path & put back in the nest & the other accidentally knocks dad off the perch, gets attacked by him and ends up in birdie hospital/hotel overnight . All well now though
.
Fab holiday, post holiday slump being determinedly fought off. Have come back v motivated in lots of ways so onwards & downwards (em, having just weighed myself, that is apt in so many ways). Need to do accounts, looking v scary

Payday
Accounts day
Oh dear.
Too much money spent on clothes, house, holiday etc. Need to top up savings account so that's £400 of OP money gone. Running an overdraft. 1 tenant has problems with HB so is waiting on that to be sorted. Waiting on man to fix fence and paint eaves. I think I'll just write off this month's OP's - will be a few hundred off overall debt but not off btl debt. Still, doesn't alter Nov as clearing date so I can live with that

I am v excited about it. Free entertainment for weeks :T.
More positive this morning.
A fairly large part of the holiday was spent on my jacksy reading mags my friend and I had bought. I decided I could write a better v short story than in Prima, also the readers tips and letters in most mags were surely easy earners. Decided that I would be writing in with tips etc to all and also write a short story. Basically, any little thing which could earn me money. Came home to discover a small improvement I had suggested at work before my holiday had won me a £25 voucher. Thank you for listening, Universe. Consider yourself hugged as per my avatar (ok, that's only the earth but you get the picture). Short story 1 written and will be sent off this weekend. It was inspired by something I wrote on this thread I think

Is that YOU on the other sofa?. I was too polite to ask, I thought it was my turn for care in the community. Help me relocate the Olympic base camp upstairs will you? If you hang about we can regroup and watch the cycling later - do you want Torchy
or Mr Flag
. to wave?

LOL :rotfl:LOL :rotfl:
I will take Torchy please. You are doing a marvellous 'care in the community' role, and due to your outstanding hospitality, you are released from further obligations. A bit like not having to do Jury duty too frequently
We are definitely in the same mood this evening and I was just thinking of turning the iPad off, and then I read your post and really did laugh out loud, much to Mr Tilly's annoyance as he was dropping off to sleep :T
