Bon voyage, enjoy the sun just as the rain starts to return here
Off to Portugal for most of the school holidays, thank goodness for laptops and working from home.
Have a great time and if you know where Seville is, then you would turn west and keep driving - not forgetting to stop for meat balls first at IKEA.

Well I did the former but not the latter - in bed at 9.30 Thurs night and had to stop at services for a 15 minute nap on way home yesterday .
Great time as always, lots of walking and 2 lots of neighbours were out so good times with them (which may account for me being so tired on return, last 3 nights were 2am, 2am and 3am). I love the relaxed way of living, sitting outside and impromptu nights. Rather than hiding away from the cold & rain
.
Spent a lot on holiday, we got in a routine of going for long walks with a nice meal at the end. Oops. Also paid our keyholder for the year, plus cleaning etc, and topped up bank account.
Doubled the size of the garden yesterday, unfortunately by losing 1/3 the garden fence . And of course it is ours (I'm pretty sure anyway, need to check if I can find the original paperwork). If it is, I will be getting the whole side done rather than what came down as what is left is only around 4 panels but a mishmash of 4 different types. Also need 1 panel and post on other side. Have been in touch with 'my man' who will pop out next week. Bit annoying as I had emailed him a few weeks ago about replacing some but he was away and only just got back - would have been a lot cheaper if I had managed to get it done in time. Oh well, que sera etc. However, he will also be doing the eaves next month so, as the funds are empty, that will be coming off my btl payments. Will be reducing debt to Mr GG though so not all bad
.
Speaking of btl - now standing at £7918.79 :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Today's list:
Food shopping - Aldi & Asda
Drop ironing off with cleaner as excessive build up, mainly DS's shirts. That will be £24 I expect
Contact company who did service card etc for garage last year to see if they are still doing it. Suspect not as it's nearly up and they haven't been in touch. Will be great shame as it saved me a fortune
Ebay - relist all stuff which hasn't sold.
Return books to library to avoid fine.
Post Office to collect new battery for lappy.
Email local paper about intro offer - supposed to be 35% off but website is only showing 25%. Will be buying subscription for whole year - it's just gone weekly and is excellent :T.
Investigate proper walking sandals for Spain.
Invent new and exciting meals.
Invent new and exciting ways to pay off mortgage.
So, that's the morning taken care of.
Have a good day all. At least it's not raining - yet!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Crikey, bit of verbal diahorrea this morning
.
Banking - one rent payment due not received, will need to contact her later. Eek .
Email of doom from power company to say bill ready . Only £30 in arrears which is not bad as it runs from before Xmas. Reduced by £27 a month :T. Which will help with overdraft .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
