    - are you sure?
    - won't she suffocate it?

Only one chick, next one in a day or so hopefully :D.

A lovely link to the first sighting:

Just to make all you chick followers jealous I watched it hatch this morning (sort of)

At 6.15 it was still an egg

then mum got in the way

At 6.45 it was a chick, dad turned up with half a fish, looked surprised then started feeding it (Martin)

GG - Whats up with the number 9 why have you just ignored it :)

Oh lucky you :). I hope Martin is a strong little thing as she's a bit clumsy with it .

9 is a funny number. A bit sperm like with that strange tail so thought I'd give it a miss to be on the safe side ;).

Car Hire Excess purchased. 25% cashback, which brings it down to the same price as the others, but it has a free helpline which hopefully I will never use.

Martin has just had his breakfast :)

Off to do banking but not expecting any surprises.

Have a good day all :D

    EDIT:

Am guessing the following conversation is taking place in the nest right now:
Mum - "Leaves. LEAVES! What am I supposed to do with leaves? Can Martin eat leaves? Can I eat leaves? I send you out for one thing - fish. Not complicated. Didn't even say what kind. Just fish. And you come back with leaves. Give me strength".
Dad - "Sorry, I forgot. Was showing off about Junior and got confused. Can't you make a salad or something?"
Martin - "Mum, I don't like that, it tastes of brussel sprouts"

Wrong :). £10 in from DD after I'd done banking yesterday and another £50 today so £60 OP made :D. Doesn't affect pay-off date but means that when the monthly payment come out on 1st the daily interest will drop below £1 a day :T. There's always a milestone if you look hard enough ;). Balance will be just over 8k then so when rent money comes in that will take it into the 7's :j.

Daily interest as of today is as follows:
    BTL 1 - £1.01
    BTL 2 - £2.46
    BTL 3 - £2.34
    Own - £1.39
    Total - £7.20

Should drop below £7 in August, hopefully sooner as BTL drops. Worked that one out with new column on spreadsheet :rotfl:.

Not quite - dead mummy blackbird in the garden this morning :(, no idea what happened - not a mark on her.

Martin & Martina having breakfast :). Hope you'll all look after them while I'm on holiday - 1 sleep :j.

Question - my favourite Twining tbags were on offer in Waitrose. 35% off. I always buy when on offer & I bought 5 boxes which will last me months. Folk at work did that 'two-headed stare' look. Am I barking :o.
