Hi Gally, have finally finished ploughing through this diary from the beginning.... exhausted now! (Tilly, yours is still ongoing!).BTL sale has fallen through  - after almost four months they are still not ready to complete
Survived the walk, not as hot as I thought it would be (though still scorchio) and a very small breeze. Cooling down with a cuppa now :T.
Holed up in bedroom with massive pile of paperwork . Hopefully it will take a while.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Good grief you crazy person :rotfl:. Tilly's is much more interesting and grown up
Yes, crazy... it seems to have replaced any novel reading though! And much more inspiring! So, back on the market for one day and suddenly the buyers have solved their (or should I say their solicitor's) issues. Contract exchanged, completion next week :T.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Hurrah on the sale! So glad to hear things have turned around.
Maybe Spain has money cockroaches rather than spiders?
(PS. pretty flowers :j)a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0 -
Very pleased that the house sale is back on track. And you will feel very virtuous and organised when all that paperwork is done. XPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -

Love the cacti flowers - if all your succulents produce flowers like that then I wouldn't bother with other stuff anyway (as long as there's no spikes involved!:D)
