2010 coming up then, but a friend is coming out tomorrow so won't have much time after that.

Saw five shooting stars last night, three very bright and two not so bright. Though that was over twenty minutes so more of a slowly dripping tap than a shower :D

    2010 Highlights:
    • Mice eating friend's things in garage
    • New job, managing old department, 35% pay rise and got another rise six months later :T. That's when FI started looking doable in a reasonable time scale :D.
    • Stopped mystery shopping as no longer worth it at 40% tax
    • Bit sad I didn't do what I'd planned and put £120 a month into S&S ISA - would have made great gains. Diversity is key is a lesson I was late in learning :o.
    • Forgot that smlsave also popped up last year :)
    • New kitchen and new doors :o
    • "In Asda today the woman behind me had stuff for her dinner - rice, chicken, jar of curry sauce and a CHOPPED UP ONION IN A BAG COSTING 32P . What is the world coming to when people are buying chopped up onions instead of paying 7p for whole one 4.gif. ":rotfl:
    • "I want to clear all mortgages by 55 & have cash pot of 100k by 60" - smashed the second and beat the first just, reason will be apparent next year :o.
    • Hello greent, Radish :hello: and Norfolk whatever in a previous incarnation :D
    • "Nice man stopped me as I was going into garage & said 'that's a lovely top love, really pretty' " - from a charity shop and I've still got it :rotfl:
    • Gave DD deposit for a house
    • Went on a steam train and saw Mr Bubbles :)
    • Lost 3 stone, now most of it put back on :(
    • Painted study - "don't know what colour I thought Oatmeal would be, turns out it's magnolia " :rotfl:
    • Peefer Pig got fed a lot :)
    • Got involved on a thread about someone who'd been seriously ripped off by a builder and ended up getting the house fixed on DIY SOS :T.

Eat Well For Less has us frequently yelling at the screen over the stupid things people buy. I'm not wild about prepping stuff for cooking (esp onions) but I would also never pay 4+ times as much to have someone else do it for me.
