It does give a nice sense of accomplishment when they spend more in a week than we spend in a month! :rotfl:0 -
Gally that is brilliant news, sorry I am a bit late with the celebrations. And it was all very complex with the multiple houses too, but you kept juggling and won. All fun ahead.xxxxPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
2010 Highlights:

Loving the highlights, keep them cominga penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0 -
Love this from your old diary (sounds like the kind of dream I would have! :rotfl:) -Last night I dreamt I was on a hotel forecourt with colleagues. I spotted some coins so made an excuse to stay behind. Picked up £1 and 50p coins but woke in a sweat as I KNEW I'd seen a 2p coin as well but couldn't find it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I think I have issues

Hi GG :hello: popping in to say I have just finished reading your diary from start to finish. What an incredible journey, I have laughed so much at all your antics and banter with fellow MFWs. I also got grumbled at many times by DH as I have been reading in bed as he tried to get to sleep :rotfl: Just loved all the emojis and the incredible list making and the cheeky little posts from your DH. I am in awe of your number crunching abilities, your energy and (not wanting to sound too cheesy here but) the inspiration you have given us lesser mortals to show that dreams really can come true:T:T A gazillion congratulations on being MF.
I am looking forward to your continuing adventures in the sun :j (Will miss the money shuffle dance!)Starting Mortgage 01.08.08 £171,209.24.
