I like it. Also like the retro steam cleaning function, very cyperpunk... or maybe steampunk? Just needs a bit of brass and it will be great0

Very joyful. Me like.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

And, does opening a regular saver mean a credit check?
No - there's no need for a credit check, as there is no prospect of you borrowing money with a regular saver
Loving GG's orchard and Ed's oven!Early retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
Thanks both. Have had a look and sadly the NW is linked to the current account, which I stand no chance of getting at the moment
... BUT there is a T3B one I should open to add to my juggling, so thank you for raising it GG :T
Absolutely loving the oven and wondering if there is some kind of fitting for my whole flat that could make it self-cleaning ...:rotfl:Fleabay + Weebuy + Gumfree since started diary 94 items sold, £649.71 clear profit0 -
Orchard Update:
One of the orange trees is actually a lemon tree :rotfl:. I know this as there are some lemon-shaped fruit on there and they are bigger than:T
Sold a few things from house today so looking better :T and a little money to counter what we are spending :j
Just as well - quote for painting house a lot higher than expected . Getting another quote
Lovely long walk along coast to next town for lunch, sat in sunshine overlooking the sea :T. Leg v painful on way back though, think it's a reaction to last week's fallA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Crikey, a whole week has gone by. Been very busy again with mucho Xmas lunches and nights out
. Long day yesterday, watching our mighty local team lose to rivals
. Good fun still, especially when there was a bit of a fracas - local bar owner, his teenage son, older son (on crutches :rotfl:) and barmaid all on the pitch, we were a bit worried what would happen to our social life if they all got arrested
.
Did some gardening at new house today, also cleared roof terrace - the four sun loungers and cushions were beyond redemption. Fruit trees fed :T. The painter we were going to use can't do it so we're getting another quote but will be able to use the first guy for electrical work. Need to get cracking with it really. Friends popped in with a new home gift and were complimentary about house - it is a nice place with larger rooms than we have at present, easy to lose sight of that when we're just seeing the problems. Ceiling fans, towel radiators and new bathroom fittings bought last week - needed two trolleys at hardware store .
I got rid of my old Christmas tree before I came out here as we wouldn't have had room, shame as it would have looked lovely in new house. A bigger problem is that the small LED tree I bought has gone disappearo, no idea where it can be. Have got one little tree and a little church to put out though, and teddy has his Xmas hat on, ho ho ho :santa2:. 19 degrees and sunny forecast for Christmas Day :T.

How lovely to be out of our December murk! All sounds great, but hard work. Good luck. And I think teddy should have a Christmas jumper.:rotfl:Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Teddy def needs xmas jumper. Get knitty GGMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Teddy does NOT need an Xmas jumper and will NOT be getting one :rotfl:. Xmas tree located in a fit of inspiration (on the shelf in the wardrobe behind the jigsaw puzzles
) and now installed but distinctly low key (i.e. tiny :rotfl:).
Friends coming for dinner tomorrow night and am cooking a fave recipe with one original ingredient (pigs trotter) included for the first time _pale_). Need to buy it today . Then our village Xmas lunch on Thursday where literally 100's of us pile on coaches and get taken off for a 3-course meal and wine/beer - all for €12 . Good to see our council tax being put to good use :rotfl:.
Beautiful clear sky this morning but cold , sure it will warm up later on :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
