Just wondering as we are all MSE here - which is cheaper tranquillisers or vino. Because I am feeling the need for one just reading what needs to be done.

Wine not available on NHS so tranquillisers????
Tho wine on this thread much more acceptable :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

No. 8 didn't get done but managed No. 13 in the end :rotfl:.

Lovely Christmas though did miss the family :(. Walk on the beach in the morning (#smugzone :D) and had brekkie in a beach bar in the sunshine (quite a lot of the little bars and cafes were open). Friends came for dinner and it turned out well though the duck was a bit overcooked (I blame the oven ;)) (seriously, I blame the oven, it seems to have two settings - warm things up or ridiculously high, and these don't always correspond to the setting :rotfl:). Yesterday I did absolutely nothing all day :D apart from make a duck curry which was lovely :D.

Waiting on Mr GG to get up (he's gone back to bed after getting up v early as couldn't sleep - too hot, we need to ditch the quilt and go back to blankets where I can have them all piled on my side :D). Health regime (well, let's say un-unhealthy regime, don't want to get too carried away ;)) starting now, so fruit for brekkie.

I want to go down to new house and sort stuff out before electrician gets in. We'll bring a load of kitchen stuff back here which will eventually be swapped with our stuff - we were going to leave it in new house till we're ready to move but as there will be 'mucho, mucho polvo' we may as well do it now and stack up in little bedroom. Ditto some quilts and other stuff. Furniture which I didn't get sold will hopefully get moved to sun room and I'll get it picked up during the week so that is is as clear as possible and we'll wash the floor where that was - it has a lot of em....... what I think might be cockroach poo round the edges :eek::eek:, though thankfully only one dead cockroach and no live ones were found _pale_.

May follow that up with long walk along the seafront to a restaurant for an un-unhealthy meal :), though I'm a bit huffy as it's very overcast here today :naughty:.

News is showing the floods in Lancashire & Yorkshire  - hope you're all safe :(.
