My sister loves New Look or M&S Jeans.

I bought up every pair of Principles Petite flared or bootcut Jeans I could find when I saw they were in financial difficulties and still have 2 pairs unworn in stock. Not very MSE, but they fitted me so well I knew it would be worth it long term.

I don't do black so my thick tights are mainly navy or chocolate. The chocolate one come in three pack in MrT's and are quite reasonable. Have only just bought my first pair of jeggings/treggings to go with boots and longer length tops but they make me very aware of the lumpy bumpy bits between my boobs and thighs :( Think I need to start doing some exercise as I am not over weight (well maybe a teensy bit :rotfl:)

I used to be a size 6 and longed to throw things out because they were too big for me, clothes shopping was always a trauma as it was so difficult to get anything that fitted. Now I am between an 8 and 10 and clothes shopping is so much easier, and I had lots of fun throwing things out because they were too small :)

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: at the pix, Z, thats priceless to match them up that way.

Maty - you're tiny!!!! Oh my word .... about the jeans, I confess, I ignored all the "nice" stuff - I went to Sainsbo and bought an armful, all size 12, regular or shortleg bootcut, below the waist. I don't even know how much I spent - won't be keeping them all, so I don't care. Hopefully 2 pairs will fit, and the ones I've been wearing can go for rags at a charity shop after they've been through the washing machine.

Got to have a little lie down now - I'm going out tonight :j:j:j to one of our Games Evenings - so I don't want to flake from being too tired.

It's been said before :rotfl: I can only make 5 foot with heels on so I would look a bit roly poly at a size 14/16.

It doesn't offend me in the slightest but isn't it odd how it is acceptable to say how tiny/small/skinny someone is but we can't mention it if they are seriously over weight :o

    Enjoy your night out :D

    :o:o:o thats true. Sorry.

I remember exchanging hugs with a woman who was clinically obese and she drew back with a really disgusted expression on her face .... "ew, I can feel your ribs". I was so surprised at the intensity of her face and tone, I didn't know what to say, and let it pass.....

I guess we comment freely on height because it really is nothing to do with our present day choices .... tall people get it all the time too - I was comparatively tall for my ages for a long time, so I remember it, tho I'm kind of average height as an adult.

Hey ho. I'm rabbiting, I'm still embarrassed :o:o:o

Don't be embarrassed, I think it is an interesting conversation :D And I came to terms with being small a long time ago :j

My brother once asked my Mum (who was a similar size/build to me) why she couldn't be cuddly like his pals Mummy (who was HUGE) :rotfl:

My pals daughter is 15 and almost 6ft and gets lots of comments which make her sad :( I keep telling her that in time she will be proud of her height but I know how difficult it is to be different at that age. And there is nothing she can do to change it anyway.

On the jeans, only keep ones that fit and look nice, even if they are cheap.

Also why not just keep the one pair that looks the best (as long as they do fit and flatter), and then look for a posh best pair. If you get 2 OK pairs if it was me I'd stop looking as I didn't need any more jeans - well the old me would :D

Well my flabber has been gasted... What the hell was she expecting? That you were the amazing Spam (TM) Woman ("All the meaty goodness but none of the bones") or something?

    Unbelievable...

There's the usual "What's the weather like up there?"

I never got that, because I'm short and fat... :D

    Maty - thank you!

se - thats exactly what I was thinking about what to keep :)

Z - sense *and* humour, I love it.

Right, shutting down now - I'm actually going out to socialise, woo hoo! I was going to say I can't remember the last time I went out at night, but sadly I can - it was with these friends, and I lost my voice halfway through the evening, sigh. Not going to happen tonight!
