Ooh, thats a good price - I'll have a look at that Taxi, if I can find another cheap one that I like, that will be great till I can grow my own supplies. Once the stuff on the windowsill is gone into the storage boxes (two are filled) I've got space for a little indoor plantation, till early summer comes along.
I've just been trying to start straightening things up a little bit over the last 24 hours - putting stuff in the storage boxes, which is ridiculously more complicated than it sounds; tidying the kitchen, including finally cleaning up from the blackberry jam I cooked ON DECEMBER 22 :eek::eek: when I write that I'm kind of sluttish in the kitchen I'm really not kidding :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Made myself stop so I could watch the new Sherlock and the new AbFaball was well with my world. And I've resolved to go get the wine bottle with the screw top out of the recycling bin _pale_ so I can plant a rhubarb plant and have rhubarb sparkling champagne :j:j:j
Mmmmmm ..... otherwise, I'm off out in an hour or so, to a last family celebration - small, but perfectly formed; the dishwasher is on, all the post has finally been opened, the laundry basket is empty (though the whole house is completely filthy , and I just don't care) so I hope everyone has a good day, and not too many more toxins taken on board :kisses3::kisses3::kisses3:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
KC Happy2012 to you and all the gorgeous ladies and guys on here. Heading homewards, not really caught up, just wanted to stick a stripey toe passed your patch x

Hi Pippi! I can see that stripy toe :kisses3: glad you could pop by.
Well, I had a lovely, lovely day yesterday, amazing meal, excellent service, beautiful surroundings. I needed to just hang out yesterday evening, but am up really bright and early today.
So, right now, whats the plan? I'm not back at paid work till tomorrow, but it is sort of a work day.
- I'm waiting in for that Approved Foods delivery (ooh, email just arrived, 2.17 - 3.17)
- got to do a fair bit of cleaning so the "public bits" of the house are decent for tomorrow. And throw myself under the shower afterwards, because with that amount of dust in the air, I'll *need* it :rotfl:
- couple of emails here and there.
- reinvent myself completely:D:D

LOVE the list KC :T :T :T Perhaps you could be as specific with your timings as Approved Foods?
Cleaning 10.23-10.56
Shower 11.02 (give yourself 8 mins to faff first) - 11.19 (time to dry too)
Email one 11.44-11.57
Email two 11.58-12.09
Reinvent self could be split into two - 12.13-2.14, then 3.48 (give yourself time to unpack food)-4.52.
Sounds like a plan0 -
loving the plans0

Loving this!!! If only we could all nail down our time with such precision!
Just got through a couple of chapters of an audiobook during this morning's commute that ended with a thought about time being fluid! How odd is that?
XO4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)New projection - 14 YEARS 8 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 16 mths)Psst...I may have started a diary!0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Yep, I'm loving the list too!
As for fluid time ... not according to Approved Foods
Not doing too badly - I *have* reinvented myself as a person able to phone their home insurance provider, and since it was in the middle of a rainstorm about storm damage, I'm fairly confident in the claim - the waterpoof covering has blown off the shed
Fences aren't ever, ever covered, apparently, they're liable to leap up and fly away at the least excuse - so, with a heavy heart I was pricing fence panels, which even at Wilkinsons Online would be a couple of hundred - and I've just realised :j:j:j that its the fence *posts* that have gone - the panels need some love and attention, its true, but I just need to buy posts and spikes for them, and the labour to get them fixed. Not going to bankrupt me after all :money:
And now, since its the last day of the holibob - a second cup of coffee :j:j:j2023: the year I get to buy a car0
