Oh KC, how was the pre-op? Don't downplay your op - mine wasn't really a big deal to the medics, who did at least 3 in the same day, but it still was a big deal (and lots of people other than you will thik it's more of a big deal than it *actually* is - I know I was mildly miffed by the people who thought it was nothing much, and slightly irritated by the people who thought I was having major heart surgery...
:rotfl: :rotfl: Reality is somewhere in between, as usual...
)
Have you got an exact date yet? (apologies if you have - I didn't get a date til ages after the pre-op and I can't remember whether you already know!) xx0 -
Thanks macgirl! You're right, its absolutely a big deal to me - but one of the things being on here has taught me, amongst many, is that people battle all sorts of terrible things on a daily basis - look at what Taxi's been through, to mention but one of the peeps I chat with regularly. I'm pretty unhappy about having to have a general anaesthetic, but a local apparently isn't good enough to cope with the pain :eek::eek::eek:
Pop back anytime :j:j:j
Anyway, today, I have quite a bit more paid work than I thought I would - 3.5 hours, actually, which is great. Starts much earlier than usual, tho, which isn't :rotfl:

Still trying to get my head round this one KC!
Over the holiday I did some [STRIKE]decluttering[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]rationalising[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]decluttering[/STRIKE]...
...hmm...
...who am I fooling - let's just call it clearing out the cr*p...
...today OH wanted to know when the paper recycle box was so heavy!!!
My goal (NOT a resolution) is to get rid of as much junk as possible and not bring more into the house - most of my junk is paper based. Having a 'printer' for a partner does not help at all - all the lovely samples that make there way home contribute! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)New projection - 14 YEARS 10 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 15 mths)Psst...I may have started a diary!0 -

Okay, I'm with you on this one:p:p
And your OH is a printer? There's another sort-of similarity between us then - my dad was a printer!
