Taxi reminded me I have some dreadful news on Asda smart price pesto - they've stopped making the green version :eek::eek: it was 60p and I liked it! So I'm now experimenting with their 98p version :( but the only one I *know* I like, now, is the Waitrose £1.99 one - so, I'm definitely going to have a little plantation of basil plants - might even buy two of those supermarket ones, that have 20 stems each :D they won't beat me :D:D:D

    Ooh hello KC,

all these late nights are fun aren't they ?

I've had 2 G&Ts tonight & have just washed down a neat rtandon style coffee ( as in there was no coffee involved :rotfl:)

KC - definitely try growing your pesto - my teeny little basil plant has been on the kitchen windowsill for months now & is still producing leaves :D This is especially amazing as it lives in a teeny pot inside a cracked strawberry mug. I'd love a pesto recipe if you can point me in a goo direction please.

Hope you have a lovely NY eve party - shame about going home early though, I considered London but I don't do rain, crowds & late night travel at the same time :(

    xx

Hello you too / you two! Isn't it great how these things start up :j

I'm just off for a sup of ordinary coffee right now (its even decaff _pale_ ) and a little lie down so I can last the course - even leaving early, there's still, as Lula says, a trip on public transport in the cold ... I'm such a wimp :D:D:D

You know what - if the trading works next year the way I want it to work, I swear that I'll book a room on New Year's Eve in that hotel thats right by Tower Bridge, and I'll watch the fireworks live.

Good grief - the whole time I've been typing this, the Sydney fireworks have been going - they're on a looooong time, they're amazing.
