    sounds good to me. I forgot to say add the sugar. I never measure my ingredients or use a thermometer for jam and I am still alive. My last batch I even added schnapps and a bit of red wine!

    Haven't done it yet tho - I've got a couple of hours before the evening's work, so I'll do it in a bit - had to go out a walk to get some sun on my face.

    My jam set perfectly and I put schnapps and red wine in.

    This stuff hasn't set yet - I also need to boil it again to add more sugar - its not good! And its definitely going to need to get frozen, its nowhere near setting :o

    I've just started on my accounts, btw - listing income - it helps when there aren't so many addition mistakes - this bit used to take me weeks :o and now its about two days :j

    Its another full on day today, tho one bit is on the phone, so I can rest my eyes.

    Have a good day, enjoyed reading your 'jam adventures' . I'm not sure about this, but have a feeling that pineapple has something in it that stops things setting. If you read a packet of commercial jelly it says to add fruit juice but not pineapple.
