Aww, Z, are you on holibobs somewhere?

I am. I'm in Devon - not far from this village in fact.

Ooh, how lovely Z! Hope the weather's kind to you, and that you can do some walking and pub-lunching :)

I'll be taking the sloe walk again on Thursday, I think :)

Well even the rain is warm down here.

Going to have to bring a navigator next time though...

Looks like a lovely place to laze some time away. Hope you dont need your windy hat. According to my weather update (which I receive from the weather centre as I travel for work). "increase in pressure ensuring dry conditions and a reduction in astronomical high tide levels" and a "build of high pressure and southeasterly winds will ensure decent temperatures this week with highs gradually increasing between 22 and 26 celsius - summer at last". I enjoyed getting that email.

"astronomical high tide levels" - luckily I'm up a hill... ;)

Yep, I am up a hill too. It did waffle on a bit about localised flooding on promenades etc. The man that sends them is really funny. But he has saved my life I reckon on a few occasions when out and about in rural Wales.

This house is brilliantly placed in that the ground slopes gently away from it both front and back - there is ground half a mile away thats maybe 15 feet higher, but I reckon I'm really safe flood wise :)

I gritted my teeth over the weekend and *didn't* do any cleaning, so have had to do some this afternoon, as I have clients all evening - nice and clean now, at least the house is, but a lot of it went over *me* cos I was dusting, so its into the shower and away :) I think I have to sit in the sun with a cup of tea and read a book first tho :)
