Good to know, Squizz! Mrs Moo, pop back here for a rest any time you like :)

I've found another book to put on Amazon - a collection of filksongs from 1999 (filk is kind of HM songs using recycled tunes :) )

    Like football songs?

Yep ... this is the first verse of "Football", sung to the tune of Greensleeves:

Alas, my love, you have squealed on me,
'Cause I taped some stuff from the BBC.
Now they are saying its piracy
Cause I couldn't watch any more football.

    Chorus:
    Football is on every day
    Football's about all they show,
    Football is a ghastly plague,
I just cannot stand any more football.

Sorry to hear you were mugged by muffinettes, sounds simply dreadful ;).

Have just thought of a brilliant way to curb my cake habit, stick to diet & donate to charity .

Each time I have a cake/biscuit/choccie bar I shall think of Hypno & put 20p in a pot for charity. I'll start tomorrow - 'tis DD1s burfday on Sunday & I've already bought loads of cake so my charity pot could be off to a good start :rotfl:l

Oh Lula, thats a *good* idea! Fancy being willing to start that with cake you already have in the house :T:T:T you're a saint!

I found another heavy book to stick on Amazon - the original edition of Plants for a Future! I really don't need that level of detail any more, and I'm ready to let it go now, sadly.

Banking was done, charity shop dress from Monsoon tried on (and rejected, sadly - the size 12s are too big, but this size 10 wouldn't do up :p) and mooched about in the library.

Absolutely shattred when I got back, but at least I watered the garden, and dried some washing in the sunshine :)

And today ... I remember a conversation about this weekend with Mrs Moo, and I said I had free tickets to the National Home Improvement Show. And I do. I just don't want to go :)

What I *do* want to do is go to the Autumn Show at the South of England showground, so I am :D Not cheap, but not at all bad either, tickets are about £9... so I'm out of here at 9 :j

Have fun, like Pippi I hope that you are not in your PJs and rollers when you arrive at the show.
I have free tickets for Place in the Sun show. (today or tomorrow). It was meant to be part of my researching. Just found out it will cost £30 each return on the train and take 3 hours each way. Also 3 hours to drive so decided not to bother. Should have realised that when I got the tickets.
