    Thanks se!

Lots of phone calls today .... I feel quite upside down so, obviously, another cup of tea is called for.

I'm not giving it to them, I don't think. The whole point of doing this was to make me feel okay about giving it away, and I don't :( not now. I'll find another Rok Skool, I think they're all over Sussex.

That's right - you shouldn't reward the inept (I'll be kind). It gives them no incentive to change.

Ooh, Chev, how lovely! I had a little lurk on your diary the other day, and I can see that you're really going through some stuff. Hope the positivity you can find on this part of mse really helps you find your way clear.

Between clients, I had about half an hour to do some accounts work ... its *astonishing* how much more I can get done when I have a deadline, of whatever sort :o

Off for a cuppa tea and a walk around the block, I think :)

    Then back to work :j:eek:

On the sedum I'd just temporarily plant it in the ground still in it's pot as long as the pot is still big enough, if not repot it first, the pot drainage if it's the right mix should keep it OK unless the place you want to put it gets really water logged. Then it's only going to be really disturbed when you finally plant it in the place you want it to be. It would need keeping an eye on if it's really dry for too long, but sedums are designed to cope with dry anyway.

Hope you find somewhere soon for the guitar, once you've decided it's time for something to move on it's always a pest when things get messed up to stop it.

ace advice there - :) and ditto hope you find a good place for the guitar

Well done on getting a fair bit done :) enjoy your walk.

I've gone out here up the track - I'm not going out again  I don't think peedie has any fur left.

    Poor peedie!

On the guitar man.. perhaps he was just having a bad day, unexpected things coming up, and he may well be doing this voluntarily. I know it leaves a bad taste, but I think I would give them one more chance, explain that you work from home etc and really do need someone to turn up at the time they say they will. Up to you obviously.. just a thought - I know I get really annoyed by things like that (we've had similar with people picking up things they've bought on eBay - and that's when they've already paid for them!), but sometimes I forget that some people have more chaotic lives than I do!

    Thanks both.

Squizz, I was sort of veering towards that myself, re the guitar, and then he just turned up on the doorstep, no phone call, nothing, only about 5 minutes after my client had left. No go for him, I'm afraid.
