Hi KC. Have you seen the Free Theatre and Cinema Tickets thread about the Mind Body and Soul show at Olympia next weekend. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=47094925&postcount=329 I thought of you when I saw it. I have free tickets to Place in the Sun next weekend and Grand Designs the weekend after. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. I'm getting someone to do itHi KC. I have, thank you! I wondered about going for the tickets - I remember the first one of those I went to, it was like fairyland, all these people think the same as me :j:j:j - but I've already got tickets for the National Home Improvement Show that weekend, and I can't do both, sadly. I'm not even sure I'll make it to that one, with how my energy levels are....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Right, what joyousness will commence today ???
- duty phone call from last night to my mum - she had the ringer off, grrr, and when she realised and phoned *me*, I was too tired.
- need to fill another bag of wubbish for the bin tomorrow, i.e. garden wubbish. Keeps the binmen active, y'know
- Sainsbo. Very little fresh food in the house.
- in between tracking trades, I'm doing a bit of scanning - in place of computer games:o:o its working so far.
- an inside-the-house job that doesn't take too much physical energy, and really does need to be done, is the dreaded accounts.
- going to work on some therapeutic writing too, I've realised I need it myself after writing/reading on Hypno's thread.
- and, eek, I need to pop a note through the neighbour's door to say I won't be going to that class tonight - unless I do that, with the way I was backing off from her when I met her in town, she'll never speak to me again, I think. And while I don't want to go on a course with her, I *do* want to keep her as a contact, for the cats if nothing else!
That'll do.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
The writing has been working for me, as you know - and it is thanks to you for pushing me in that direction.
I hope you benefit from such things today - am sure you will xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Thanks, Hypno - there've been a few straws in the wind recently - my energy levels have collapsed again, my business partner's wife (older than me) walking 25 miles for sheer pleasure, and seeing you fighting your way clear by doing an exercise *I* mentioned
- my present day circumstances are the best they've been for years, notwithstanding all the decluttering I still need to do
and after all I *am* a dratted therapist - stuff hangs over us! - time to re-address mine, it seems.

"Physician, heal thyself." Luke 4:23 BTW I had to google where that came from. But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
Shame that you cant make it KC, I think fairyland fun and pleasure might be just what the therapist orders right now. Good for you for realising about the therapeutic writing, good luck with it all.

Thanks guys .... to take the next step thats important for me, I think I have to have a reality check, on all sorts of levels.
I'm still on the scanning plus paperwork to be prepared for accounts ... its still working. This is one reality check: the alternative to flogging myself to death humping stones around in the garden is *not* playing computer games. Actually, although the Mind/Body/Soul show would be lovely, I don't *need* it right now - I know what to do to find my answers. I just have to do it. Have to disagree about Nike ruling (ethics not my cup of tea) but you rule. It is good to know what you need to do to find answers. You have other lovely pleasurable things to look forward to as well so the mind show thing was just a suggestion if you were around there.
Speaking of lovely things when is the Liverpool marathon now? Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0
