We're only wibbling about disaster because of what happened to Hypno's friends in Texas, don't worry Pippi
tho the sideways rain up by you might be an issue
Doctor Who! I tell you what, now that they've expanded Amy Pond's part, and they've got Arthur Darvill in, I'm *for* itKaren Gillan is a force of nature
a red haired Scotswoman ..... I wonder?
Dreadful amount of tv going on - Strictly (tho I got bored and wandered away), Dr Who, and XFactor is on in the background, oops. Square eyes loom.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Now that Dr W is back to playing mindgames rather than relying on special effects for substance, I'm loving it - in fact the trailer for next week's gave me the chills as it reminds me of the days of 'my' Dr W with the red and yellow scarf!
OH has just piped in 'and mine' white hair and grumpy :rotfl:4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Thoroughly agree about Strictly, i enjoy a bit of it-but get extremely bored with the 'personalities' on there..same goes for the other reality progs...good at sending me to sleep thoughBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Well it looks like I shall be getting that tomorrow. And it is bin day tomorrow. The sight of empty wheelie bins racing up the street to greet you like the attack of the bins/daleks out of the Goodies is never a good one...Dreadful amount of tv going on - Strictly (tho I got bored and wandered away), Dr Who, and XFactor is on in the background, oops. One of my Doctors was white haired and grumpy too! William Hartnell ... I got such a shock when I saw him from stuff in the 50s *not* being Doctor Who :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Yeah, I'm not really part of celebe culture - its mildly interesting for about 20 mins (how many facelifts has Lulu had, that sort of thing) and then, yep, boredom sets in.
Z, I think you're definitely in the danger zone for flying daleksmind you, when I was at London Excel one time, I really did see a dalek pin a guy against a wall
the dalek was made of wood, and the guy could hardly stand up for laughing
it was v impressive.
Tell you another impressive something-or-other: I just made fruit chutney! Foraged plums, apples, and a stray pear, plus an onion and some *very* old rice wine vinegarwe'll see how it turns out

Morning all! Z, I'm not sure I'm following you on that one, but whatever floats your boat, and its such an *unusual* boat
I have a fair old bit of paid work today, but nearly all of it is this evening, which makes for a very odd-shaped day. Its also very darkeven down here in "sooth" land
Still, I made a little list a few days ago of admin stuff I need to do today, nothing huge, and it won't take me long.
Physical work - if it ever stops raining, I'm very tempted to get the big box from AF (they sent me a *lot* of cardboard) put it on the garden to act as a temporary mulch and standing point, and "prune" the buddleia near the house, its blowing onto the fence a lot in these winds, I'm not quite happy about it.
And, time for brekkie.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
