You're so kind :j:j:j have some chocolate :EasterBun :rotfl:

I finally managed to get some sweeping done - horrendous amount of dust around :o thank god I've done it :o top of the desk is clean, anything that I can pack away is packed away. The place looks a bit funny in some ways, a bit empty, but I've still got a lot of plugging of insectiforous gaps before I put loads of curtains and ornaments up. Half a dozen little boog*rs zapped today alone

I stopped a couple of hours ago, managed to get myself more or less clean - the dust!!!! And I'm never doing this again on a weekend, I did the classic wasting of the whole day saying to myself "I don't want to do it". Dumb! No longer, thats *it* for weekend housework!

I like the use of the greying out there, Lula :D:D

Well, today's the day  I've cleaned about 60% of the kitchen surfaces, got some more to do ... but I've also done exactly what I swore I wouldn't, and left a fair old bit of vacuuming to today .... and the (new) vacuum cleaner is doing what the old Dyson did, cutting out after 5 mins or so. Maybe my electrical field is wonky?

Nothing else, really - 2.5 hours work, bit of backup stuff, all the cleaning I can cope with, thats it. I think I'd *really* like to emigrate about now

Sounds like a busy weekend! I also think you should get a hat - or wear your amazing floating hat - just because hats are good :D So your mum arrives today? :)

The Saturday was great! The Sunday was mostly avoidance-of-cleaning, and therefore not so great :rotfl: which is why I pledge myself *never* to do housework over a weekend ever again :D I loathe it, avoid it, so not only does it get done very skimpily, it trashes the weekend in all sorts of other ways too :p

And yep, mum arrives today - late, about 7.45 this evening, because a client leaves at 7.30 - she's just rung, they got in from France last night at 1am  she's going to crash either today or at mine, she must do! And she's trying to reassure me about the cleaning, bless her :kisses3: I'm such a nut-job sometimes :o

:o:o:o I *try* to be sane, I really do :D

Okay, I've been consulting on which room to be cleared, and its still the counselling room, so I'm focussing in there, but leaving the cleared stuff in the office cleared in case she doesn't like it :D

I've also finished the cleaning in the kitchen :j:j:j bl**dy h@ll, this house is clean!

So now, its a swoosh with the vac on the stairs (needed for clients, not mother), and an hour after that, shake out the bedding I've got for her on a clean sheet over my bed (I'm not kidding about dust allergies, I'm really not ) then I'm done :dance::dance:
