    :hello::hello::hello:

I managed to get some more sleep, just as it was getting light. I think it may well have been my own fault :o:o:o I lurve cheddar, and I had a small round of toast with *lots* of cheese on top, immediately after I got in from the air show. Oops.

So I was later getting up, which meant that while I was making my coffee, the little black kitten was playing in my garden :):):) thats not bad :)

Tricia - you sound like you've had a lovely holiday, I know what you mean about being the only person in the world. At my last house, my bedroom overlooked the whole town, and nothing was happening when I used to get up early to do the trading, it was an amazing atmosphere.

If I have a lot to do, I'm more likely to do that planning last thing at night, so my brain isn't too active overnight, and when I *get* into bed, I make a little review of the day and sort of give thanks. Didn't yesterday, I was too tired :o but its nice.

Today is *definitely* all about The Visit! Cleaning, sweeping, bit of shopping, and a *relaxing* bath, not a hurried one, at the end :j

That was definitely silly o'clock KC. And your light is still on. I'd have gone back to bed by now.

Glad you enjoyed your day out, and chuckling at the 'Gods waiting room'.

I think 'our' T J's is one of the ones that is staying open, even though its got big signs saying 'closing down'. Although its usually bargainous anyway I haven't been in recently but it always was a bit disorganised. Too many 'franchise' type bits that have their own till and confusing systems.

Nan always used to go their for her underwear. She called them 'briefs' but anything less brief would be hard to imagine.

But it made me think of going to Blackler's with my Nan. When you paid for anything, always cash back in those days, they put the money in a tube and it went off somewhere, and then another tube came back with the change in it. I must be older than I thought.

    Enjoy your Mum's visit.

Me too, sadly ... but I was like a big kid watching the Red Arrows yesterday, I don't think I've ever seen them live!
    Enjoy your Mum's visit.
Thanks! After all this faffing, its actually only Monday evening to Wednesday morning, and even I can do that... anything she complains about, I'll play the sympathy card :D

    Hi Pippi!

Erm, you mean I have to start? _pale_ Oh dear :rotfl: Okay, then I'll tidy my desk - I've had an idea she might sleep in the office after all, but whether or not she does, I'll be using the desk to put the kettle on, and the office needs a good tidy anyway.

I may be gone some time - light will be on, but nobody's home :D:D:D

I'm definitely going to arrange a full day at Eastbourne next year, but I had nowhere to sit, and too much sun on my head to last as long as I wanted.

    Morning KC,

you're doing rather well with your list, I do hope you manage to actually enjoy 'The Visit' as well as feel satisfied at being fully prepared for it.
If it becomes difficult, you could always have a secret 'hourly tick off countdown' list somewhere ;).
