Hello crew,
lucky for you Squizz you can miss out a trip to Lulaville at Jct 10.5 - my oven is new. I didn't even want to use it at first, but am over that now.
Mad rain & fab thunderstorms here - I love them0 -
I forgot you'd just got a new one, Lula! Are you enjoying it?
I enjoyed my little wander about too, tho the rain was over by that time ... I saw a fork of lightning tho, that was pretty cool. And I managed to get out into the garden with the last of the light, and cut some grass - not much, but some.
Realised that with all this practical work going on, my paperwork has been more or less abandoned, plus I *really* need to fix my gas and elec, and I really need to catch up on that. I've got two pieces of paid work today, about 3 hours in all, so I've got time this afternoon. I *may* do some in breaks from trading, but really, the trading is more important long term.
It would be nice to have a clean carpet here and there, too2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Great 3 hours paid work today - I'm about the same
EEk to lightnening - yay to grass cutting - I scalped mine last night - figure that should do it for the time I'm away unless we have a heat wave (UNLIKELY HERE) - funny thing is - I'm unpacking my summer clothes from the back of the wardrobe to take south - lol - not used any of them here yet!!!
My hoovers are at the cleaning job - so my carpets are, um a bit eco-system like - however, I can't do much about that!
Goodluck with the trading, not that I understand it (I'm happy in my ignorance, sounds very hard but rewarding) - and for oven cleaning - um, I'll do mine agian before holiday folk arrive - ergh - looked - quickly looked away.
I'm an eco-clart it would appear. Convinced I'm doing my bit for the planet by NOT cleaning - oh dear........................!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -
I think I should probably point out here that I have no particular oven cleaning skills (although I did do ours OK recently when I spilt stuff all over the bottom which burnt
) .. but if a friend needed a hand with a grubby oven I'd do it

Eco systems! Of course, why didn't I think of that! All that electricity we don't use, all the cleaning products we don't buy, all that money that stays in our pockets
OTOH, all the allergy pills I need to buy because of the dust :rotfl:
Enjoy looking at your dahn sarf clothes!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

You lot make me feel SO much more normal (whatever normal is ) or is it just that our eco-clart genes make us bond?
Don't forget that some scientists are claiming that allergies come from lack of exposure to dirt and pathogens in childhood which can stunt the development of the immune system.
I rest my case (and my broom & mop :rotfl::rotfl:)But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -

Not in my case, I'm afraid, Tricia - I grew up in 1950s Liverpool, remember, where the washing got dirty on the line  - like other towns and cities at the time, to be sure :eek::eek:
Anyway, didn't update yesterday, tho I did pop back on briefly now and then .... I had a dreadful, dreadful day yesterday, and I'm really proud of myself that I've come back to mse - the dreadfulness wasn't anything to do with mse, but I was within a hairsbreadth of leaving. Which would have been completely counter-productive ....
So, here I am. Trying to organise paperwork, since I can't cope with anything else, this morning, and yesterday the only thing I managed to do on that level was send off a form I'd already sent for. Not wonderful - mind you, I count it as an achievement yesterday that my head didn't explode. So there we go.
New dawn. New day. All of that. A list a la GTD via Cheery will be done. Anything thats less than ... five ... minutes (not GTD's two minutes :rotfl: I'm a bit slow at the mo) will be done, including birthday cards for tomorrow, oops.
2.5 hours paid work this afternoon, but plenty of time before and after, and one really pleasurable thing, hunting for leyline info for Tricia.... oh, must send seeds to Squizz too...2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Oh dear, that isn't good.. :grouphug: Hope things are better today.. and don't leave us!!
Hopefully a bit of GTD-type organising will help you feel in control xxDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
