    Hi
I was reading about the green stuff, and solar power and shampoo etc. with interest, as I've just been waffling on about that on my thread.
Its something I think about a fair bit, I have very fine hair, and need to wash it every day. If I don't it looks OK in the morning but by mid afternoon it looks dirty.

But now I've got to say well done on the trading.
    :T:T:T:beer:

OK so you didn't stay in, but at least you did something. Every little bit counts! It mightn't sound much but if you made that much every day, you'd have over 70 quid at the end of the month. Not enough to retire on, but enough to buy food.

Hi Gill - this sounds really boring after the trading excitement, but the reason for my question is that I had some freebie mini bottles of new Pantene shampoo/ conditioner (Aqua Light) that I took on holiday, and even in the boiling hot heat my hair (which sounds very like yours) didn't desperately need washed the next day. Thankfully it seems to have the same effect here as I was worried that it was the Estonian water that made the difference, and it might have been a bit problematic importing that! :rotfl:

ps Karma - remember to send me your address :)

    Shampoo is important too :)

I mean, when I'm a millionaire :) how will I know which shampoo to buy then if I don't know about the new brands that have come out since my finances took their own little downturn :D

Will pm you my address, thank you! Little seeds finding a new home is always good.

Want any tree onions? The seeds are from last year, but they should still be okay.

    £2.60 will get you a cuppa and a scone KC! :T :T :T :D

Squizz - have you tried baking soda and vinegar instead of shampoo? I've done it myself once or twice - always given up after a few days because it's not *quite* as easy as shampoo :o but actually hair is fine! Will get back on the case again (as soon as we have a working shower, that is, not quite so nice in the bath... :o)

Oooh, KC, meant to ask - we're looking for a wooden stable door - wanted s greeny one as I colud afford really, Wickes do an oak one, but it's not FSC certified apparently. B&Q do one that is FSC, but it's redwood something-or-other. Seems really difficult to get any info on it! Do you have any recommendations?
  • £2.60. Thats a great start! More than many entrepreneurs (sp?) have to start a business!

Ask away any time about pootling about on the rivers and canals, my parents have been doing it for years, are on their 3rd boat, and even DS at 11 has decided on what type of boat, which boat builder etc. Shan't have the big lawns to cut soon as they have sold the house and are going for one with very low maintenance so they can spend even more time away :).
One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

the real issue for me is that I didn't exhaust myself with an adrenalin rush! I need to be able to trade, and learn to stay in longer, and then have enough energy to do my existing therapy work in the afternoon. And on this performance, I will have. Thats whats making me so happy :)

Well done - and remember: baby steps...

As always - you unfortunately need to do your own research and not rely on quick and easy certifications.

Gosh .... I can't imagine that ... once I have the flooring laid, I'm going to be giving the bathroom a deep clean, and I may be in the mood to play with it all then :D:D:D

Hmmm. Not at the moment, I'm afraid. Tho a reclamation yard would be the logical place to start - even round here, there are places - there's a huge one just by Burgess Hill rail station, which absolutely fascinates me, but its a bit far for you to go :)

Thank you! I might well take you/them up on that, actually - I can see boat merchants online, and there are local evening classes about ... boatmanship :D ... it fascinates me, things like, where do you moor, do you have to pay along every stretch of river, are there communities, online forums, the whole thing :j:j:j

Thanks Z. £2.60 is definitely a baby step; I'm actually very confident in the methodology I've got, its really about my confidence in myself.
