Well apart from a list about what lists I need to make and the fact we are going to get a wipe clean board to put everything on so we don't miss anything, like remember to pick DS up from school :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, I'm fine, thanks for asking :kisses3:.
I got the all clear from rhuematoid which was fantastic news, mum was very relieved. Now I could just do with a few weeks by a pool in the sun but I only have the chance of the odd day off until December, but it was only 6 months ago when we had no idea of how we would be earing anything this year so I'm not complaining!
You never know what direction things will go, and for us its been every which way across the countryOne small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!
2015 - my Amazon Gift Certificate mini challenge - saving to buy small household electrical items.
Total £9.120 -
And I just mentioned to my partner on Tuesday the idea of renting out the house while I buy a little inland boat and potter round the UK on the rivers and canals
which is quite real now :j
This is exactly where my parents are now! They go for months on end, we get to the cut the lawn .One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

Long weekend sounds lovely - what you got planned? x
Great explaination of 'embedded energy' btw - I loved it
Weekend - Crawley Folk Festival on Saturday with a friend, and Wakehurst Place (National Trust place) with my sister on Sunday. I'm not a "night-out" sort of person really, never have been, so these are ideal.youareallhelpingme wrote: »Well apart from a list about what lists I need to make and the fact we are going to get a wipe clean board to put everything on so we don't miss anything, like remember to pick DS up from school :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, I'm fine, thanks for asking :kisses3:.

Thats very good news, absolutely. A holiday would be even better, of course - hope you can get something.

I've been up for ages, yawn. Today, I don't have any paid work booked in - nor on Monday - tho I have managed to hit my minimum for this week.
So today, the morning is about the trading, tho I'm actually sitting not in my office but in the living room - I've been trying to get onto the Olympic website to buy second chance tickets - but even tho I have an account, the security question (I forgot my password!) is weird - my favourite sportsperson? Huh? Who on earth did I pretend is my fave sportsperson? Not a clue.
Then in the afternoon, off to town - decluttering to the charity shop, going to the bank, the library, that sort of fascinating stuffI wish I could say, I'm popping off to New York for a weekend shopping trip, but I'm not

And positive vibes, please, for my niece, who has a callback after an interview in Putney.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Lots of positive vibes for your niece ~~~~~~~~~~
Good luck with the Olympics tickets - lots of that going on in my office this morning too!
Thanks for the explanation about the chargers - you explain these things really clearlyMy main concern is OH's iPod needing charged pretty much everyday (too much playing silly games :rotfl:) and wondered if a solar charger would work for that and my phone and save a bit of electricity.
Re the shampoo - hmmm you haven't seen my hair after two daysIt's very fine so seems to look grubby very quickly
I might have to experiment a bit.
Never mind New York - folk festival and day out with your sister sounds fab :TDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Hi Squizz! Thanks for the vibes!
Olympics - no deal, my niece has already tried to do it - we can apply for the next tranche, apparently, on 8th July or something. All sounds dodgy to me.
Awww, and thank you for your kind words about how I put thingsthats very nice to hear
I wonder if your charger *is* on the blink if OH has to charge his stuff every day? You might have to do complicated sums about wattage and whatnot and I don't have a clue about that
sorry! Tho it is a beef of mine - we're told not to leave things on charge too long, but most of the electronic rechargeable stuff that I have doesn't have an icon to say "fully charged". V annoying.
On hair, I'm so used to mine, which is very, lets say, strong - its completely different ... in that situation, I get something as gentle as I could.
And yes, I am looking forward to my weekend.
As for the trading - all I have to say is this:
:j:j:j
:rotfl:I was very timid still, but there was the trade saying, yes, this is the right thing to do, so I just did ... and I got a tiny profit. If I'd stayed in, it would've been four times what I got, but I *did* stay in longer than I thought I would, and I wasn't hyped, it felt normal, so I'm really really happy with that - in it for the long term, so a little paddle in the waters is fine. I'm richer by the princely sum of £2.60, by the way :j
A celebratory cup of coffee now beckons
And the final trade would've been a profit of 15 :j:j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi
I was reading about the green stuff, and solar power and shampoo etc. with interest, as I've just been waffling on about that on my thread.
Its something I think about a fair bit, I have very fine hair, and need to wash it every day. If I don't it looks OK in the morning but by mid afternoon it looks dirty.
But now I've got to say well done on the trading.
:T:T:T:beer:
OK so you didn't stay in, but at least you did something. Every little bit counts! It mightn't sound much but if you made that much every day, you'd have over 70 quid at the end of the month. Hiya! Thank you! If I'd waited for an exit signal to get out, the total would've been much higher - and if I'd done more £ per point, the profit would've been much much higher - thats a learning trade, and I'm really happy with it - the real issue for me is that I didn't exhaust myself with an adrenalin rush! I need to be able to trade, and learn to stay in longer, and then have enough energy to do my existing therapy work in the afternoon. And on this performance, I will have. Thats whats making me so happy2023: the year I get to buy a car0
