I think, for me anyway, the brighter mornings and it going dark later at teatime makes me feel more optimistic and positive - also any sunshine shows up dust, cobwebs and mucky windows so I am shamed into action !Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. Hiya! ThanksRT - yep, its internet trouble again
well, actually, its log-on persona trouble on the new laptop, I can't even get as far as the net on the newlaptop. I'm on the old one right now, had to reinstal avg, and its soooo slow. I just need to check that callcentre number for Samsung - I noted thelandline number, but thats closed on a Sunday.
Update otherwise: London was okay, weird to think I'll be stopping that work-trip in 4 weeks time, after doing it for so long. Went to Bluewater and oohed and aahed at the size of the place - and I didn't realise we were going over to Essex as well, to check out the IKEA over there, it was brill that I got to go on the Dartford Bridge again
Kitchen table was bought at IKEA in the end, just the right compromise between seating and size.... so a massive tidy up has ensued, and once I've wiped the floor in that area and left it to dry, I'll be ready construct the thingI'm really lookingforward to having a proper kitchen table! Well, table full stop, as its the only one
Today, pottered off to Sainsbo, and stocked up a bit before goingoff to Ely next week. After I've done a final bitof tidying in the kitchen, its fix-the-computer (hopefully) and then pamperingtime, and I'm going to test the hair dye I bought for allergies and whatnot ... we'll see. Since my lastwork for 9 days or so is this Wednesday, thats an ideal time to do the dyeing, since if its rubbish I can wash my hair frantically till it resumes normal service.
I'm not visiting any diaries today, sadly - its so difficult to get around on this machine, it would take forever, and I've just taken delivery of my copy of the book that Firewalker recommended - Tim Ferriss' book, The Four Hour Work Week, which is much more detailed than I'd hoped
Hope to be back on later, having solved the log-on problem.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
