Sorry to hear about your mum TPA
However, fantastic news about the cruise hols - I'm a big believer of having a life whilst attaining MFdom. We could pay ours off much quicker if we never ate out, had takeaways, holidays, days out, new clothes etc etc But then I'd hate OPing - whereas I don't now, I just see it as a fun challengeI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
Sounds like things are beginning to settle TPA so here's hoping
.
PS - maybe leave the dress for a day or so, or she may think the hallucinations have started again :rotfl:
Just kidding, you know we love you
Dress looks lovely TPA xxA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

OMG when will the spending stop?????
Dyson has given up the ghost, too many cat n dog hairs for it to cope with, have just reserved a Miele (after asking for advice from those that have pets on this site:money:) was expensive, but Argos did have £30 off and I have managed to get a job lot of bags for it from debenhams (of all places!) for a good price (plus cashback, free delivery and a 10% off code!):money:
Oh well my Tesco voucher haul will be good........... thank goodness for my CC that gives 'cashback' as Tesco vouchers. I will be using them to book a hotel a Gatwick the night before our Las Vegas flight:j:j:rotfl::j:j
Mum is having a day at home next week to see if the 'people' are still there. Fingers crossed all will go well. We are going to have another picnic on Saturday with her...hmmmm, what to take??

Anyone got 50p for the meter?:rotfl:Electricity keeps going off! Rang the leccy board and they informed me that it is affecting 2199 homes:rotfl:Nothing like being precise!!
Managed to get a flower thingys for my hair in the sale for a mear £2, bought two as I'm going to put the 2nd one on my handbag, tarting it up a bit, thus saving me money on buying a new one that I will never use again. Not sure a Kipling would be suitable! So my whole outfit comes in at £80: £35 for the dress, £21 for the shoes, £20 for the cardi type top arm cover up, £4 for the hair and bag acessories - very MSE for someone that doesn't own any smart clothes:money:.
Mum had a bad couple of days, very weepy seeing the 'people' on her bed.... but yesterday was a good day, fingers crossed for more good ones!

Forgot to say, I have used £44 worth of diesel in the last week, to make matters worse I only had to go into work one day! The rest was visiting Mum and a shopping trip to get hubbys suit:eek:

Can someone please knock this 'lazy' jean out of me?:(
It's 2pm and all i've achieved is packing the dishwasher and booking the hotel in Gatwick for the night before we fly (Hilton, with Tesco ClubCard vouchers of course):j
We have visitors coming for dinner tomorrow night, so I really need to get off my backside, tidy up and prepare the spag bol! I am in work tomorrow so will not have time then.
Just looked at the CC bill on line and it is nearing £2,000:eek: £870 is the deposit for the holiday (some blooming deposit thats over half the full cost!) the new vaccum, suit for hubby.....etc.... We have got to get this spending under control before things get on top of us:(
Right, i'm off to chain myself to the cooker!
