Missing in action again!
Its been a manic week.
Good points: (bulletts especially for GG)- Mum n Dad are home:D
- My house is considerably tidier (MIL came to visit tonight, so it had to be!):j
- Got Martins BP car wash for 50p, and passed on the love!:money:
- Mum is very unwell, she has 'aged' 20 years, is constantly sad, crying, angry, negative & exhausted. She has 'people' living in her house that no one else can see, she is accusing my Dad of all sorts of things. It is heart breaking:( The Psychiatrist and the Parkinsons nurse have both seen her and she has had a major change of medication. It is just a waiting game now, we have been warned it maybe a long wait:( My little brother is getting married in five weeks, this is not easy.
I really really want to book a holiday, however I am doing hardly any 'extra' work and am not sure if we can justify it. Saying that I may just crash n burn if we don't go away.....hmm, seems I have answered my own problem there:o

Crashing and burning doesn't sound like an option hon. MF is a choice, but you need to survive. If you need a holiday, you need one, and i can understand why.
I am so sorry life is so tough at the moment for you. I wish i could sweep in and make your mum better for you.
Be kind to yourself so you can continue helping them. It's all you can do xx0 -
So sorry to hear about your mum getting worse.

Thank you both x
Hubby and I had a chat last night about holidays, we looked at prices for Las Vegas in December-came out at £737 pp. Then he dropped a bomb and said he as always fancied doing an Alaskan cruise (not one where you have to dress up!) Well its my 40th next summer.....so Vancouver and Alaska here we come! Not booked, but I did hotfoot it to the nearest travel agents and picked up the 'dream books!':)
When we first looked into being MF we said we hoped we could do it by the time DH was 40, he then said 'why don't we try for your 40th instead' ............2 years 2 months before his! (to be honest we never really thought at that stage it might become a reality).......Well this is going to be a compromise, we now hope to be MF by August 2013...smack bang in the middle of our 40ths!!! This accounts for much needed holidays (extravigant ones I know..but you only live once and we CAN afford it, its not like we are putting the cost on CC)
Nothing booked yet, but I WILL do it soon!!
Big smiles n hugs all round:D:)

Sorry things are tough TPA. Hope the new medication kicks in soon
.
As you & others have said, you're no good to anyone if you're burnt out - have a break.

Money news:
- Logged onto Santander account, have received my £100 bonus, hubby hasn't had his yet though. (Isn't actually due for another month though)
- Quidco are paying hubby £95 this month.
- Have been paid by 4 different mystery shopping companies for work done last month.
- Topcashback £56 payment requested.
- Refund for the rediculously priced Dune shoes received.
- £3 shower gel voucher received (my last one dripped when it fell over in the shower so I phoned (free phone) and complained:money:
- No alcohol consumed (therefore garage stash intact!) as i'm on antibiotics for a tooth abscess:(&:)
Mum is as bad if not worse today, when I rang this morning she sounded upbeat and 'smiley', it was lovely, but within minutes she was in tears, as she was when I visited tonight. She just wants her house back and 'the people' to go away:(
My Dad bought me flowers today to say thank you for helping out with mum and coping with him...this is a HUGE gesture from him:o and means the world to me.
See I ended on a positive!

Spent the last 24 hours with Mum and had a lovely time. She laughed, she smiled, she had fun........we both had fun. I got home 30 mins ago, just spoke to her on the phone and she is sobing her heart out:( This is so hard, I wish I could do more to help her, sometimes life is so cruel.
On the money front, I got round to doing the monthly figures, not brilliant, no suprise there! We have paid off about £740 in two months, no where near our target figure.

Big hug.
Remember, she did have fun when you were there, and that matters. Yes, she is sad now, but you can only do what you can do. It's very hard, but try to hold onto the positives if you can.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49
