Yep its def a good feeling, I get fed up at times and want to go splurge but hey ho we ran it up we gotta pay it back!
Ebay money now tranferred over we have £55 to last us till payday which is 2 weeks away. I dont think DH will get a good pay mind as there is hardly any work we also have 5 birthday, and the car needs a service eek so am a bit worried and tax credits owe us some money so am hoping that comes in time otherwise we may be stuffed. I think I will try and do some overtime at work which will help reduce the costs for next month - I will ask on monday.:(
Other than that just ticking along really, was hoping for a few quid on euromillions but no such luck. The boys are watching the football today so will prob take the girls to the park for a while. Have a nice weekend all!

Hey Mummy - glad things are going well with little one:)
Last year we went away on a tight budget and we were really pleased with ourselves.
Next month will be really tight but doable if I am careful - have done food shop today to avoid going when I have all kids during half term but because we haven't got paid I transferred money out of savings and when my pay goes in I will click it back over. At least it saves me lots of we want etc:D:D
Have 8 items listed on ebay and another 5 to go on this weekend. Am hoping the ebaying will top up the money for the month.
We still don't know whats happening with DH pay so can't renew my tax credits just yet
Have done a written SOA so hope we can stick to it:)

Still nothing on the tax credits front and DH new pay will be with payslip next week to be honest am dreading getting it and so hoping it's like a 10% cut as that would be doable. Then I will need to phone back tax credits to let them know the wages have changed for the year otherwise we are going to struggle through.
Have been very good on the ebay front and trying to make £20 per week - which I managed this week - just. I am going to put this money towards car tax and xmas savings. I have a pile to list which I will try and photograph this morning and get on tonight.
I am also going to try and next week get an extra shift at work as really need the money.
Only going to make minimum payment on ccard as need the money for other things this month.
Having said that originally our minimum payment was £90 per month as now it is at £39 - so progress there for sure. Once both cards are gone we will have an extra £100 per month in our account:j.

You are doing well on the ebay front, pinky. Have you ever thought about selling stuff for family and friends, and taking a small fee? Bet load of people have stufff tehy want to get rid of.

Haven't really got time at the mo - but good idea Katie- to be honest struggle with the motivation of putting my own stuff on lol.
Well pay went in paid bills, food shopping done , bought a few gifts and.... have about £5 left to last us 2 weeks!! So am going to try and do some overtime at work, ebay some more and literally have 14 NS days - so not doable with 3 kids. Still no word on DH pay - still no word on tax credits so feel like we can't even sort anything out. Think we may need to get rid of sky and look at budget again - really wanted to go away next year but I just don't know if it's doable!! I need to increase my food budget also as it is just not stretching to the end of the month.
Anyway rant over and am off for a swim to take my mind off things!

Pinky hugs to you.
You can only do what your doing, its so hard.
Fingers crossed you hear from tax credits and DH`s work very soon - They don`t think about the consequences of their delay in contacting you or sorting things out!!
I know how you feel regarding the £5 to last 2 weeks - happens to us every month lately! Good luck with ebay fingers corssed you get a good turn around on there xxDebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

Hi all - well pay front DH is taking a reduction of 20% so need to try and guesstimate overtime he may get then work out the yearly figure to give to the tax credits. We should just about break even on the bills but are going to struggle when it comes to oil etc as this is £300 a throw but at least we wont need any till nearer end of the year. We are having showers now and trying not to use heating to keep costs down. We need to service car next month, will have to buy uniforms in july for kids going back in sept as the jumpers they have are always really scruffy come the summer hols. Then in sept they will all need new shoes etc for going back - so will have to keep these things in mind for budgetting purposes - I think the swimming money will be due also. Had a look on entitled to and thought with our income dropping by 5000 we may be entitled to some help eg council tax of school meals but as usual we are not. It's amazing how many families on here seem to be struggling however all my friends are doing really well, horses, mortgage free, large inhertiances, child care on tap and am getting really fed up of it now - what is there secret????? Ok moan over off to moan at DH!:D:jNov 2012 - Loan £1200, CC1 £1450

(((hugs))) Pinky they are in debt that is the secret!
I don`t believe for one minute that anyone/family can live happily with extras thrown in on average wage - if they are they are lying about their income LOL!
I have neighbours who appear well off - i convince myself its debt they live on, as she is a sahm yet she lives a life of a pop star, he has just passed out as a black cabbie!
I know it don`t feel like it now but it will turn out well in the end, whenever you face that brickwall a door opens. Somehow we manage don`t we?
As for schools and the costs its ridiculous costly when all the little things are added up!
Catch the uniforms in sales same with shoes, i have to get clarks for my DD and i get them in the sale which helps alot.
I wondered where you were you not been about much xxDebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j
