Pinky's Happy Every After 2011!!!! :)

Right will try and post a link to my old diary hmmmmm.
So here we are 1st Jan 2011 - let the battle to pay of the credit cards commence. So this is where we stand as of today 2 credit cards. I am dealing with the biggest first and then will tackle the smaller one. I am waiting for a payment to clear and will update my sig.
I feel sooo focused at the moment and I am determined to pay these cards off by Autumn at the lastest however I am also aiming really to pay them by summer but understandably we can expect something to crop up financially to put us back. So I feel this is realistic!
For those of you who havent read my diary ----
DH hours have recently been reduced so living on less than we usually would - but managing thank goodness to our better money saving ways (cheers martin).
I currently also work 14 hours per week and look after our 3 gorgeous, noisy, expensive, excitable children!
So not much else to say really for today - except Happy New Year all xx

Thanks girls - Happy New Year to you guys hope you are having a lovely day!
Today has been NS day number 1!! Yep not a penny spent!
Have eaten at aunties today and kids had a snack tea we were sooo full so that saved me cooking.
We are going to go for a long walk tomorrow to let the kids run some energy off especially while the weather has picked yp for the moment.
On a non money note - we have took the tree and decs down today. Was quite sad really as I dont feel they have been up for more than a minute this year. Seems to have gone really fast.
Got some washing done and bagged up some toys for the charity shop. Have made kids tidy there rooms and chilled this afternoon watching indiana jones - is it sad that I still think he is good looking (he is quite old):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Have had a quick check of credit card and with my extra payments it stands at £2470 - but there is a few pounds interest to go on which havent been calculated yet so could be a few pounds more.
I have found a few things which I am going to put on ebay, I am aiming to try and make £50 this month selling - so will update on my progress!
Have a good day everyone x

Yep we took our decs down as it looks sooo bare. Have sorted all cards out to be taken for recycling. Popped to shops today and bought a few bits Jean £12 in Next Sale - however when I got to till the lady said 'oh sorry these should be full price not in the sale'. She must have see me ready for action and quickly backed down saying 'oh lets see if I can discount them for you'. So the jeans I ordered from the directory at £26 can go back meaning I saved £14 yey!! I also spent £17 getting my friend some bits for her new baby and £6 in Primarni buying socks, and some joggy bottoms for DS. So wasnt too bad and treated myself to a sausage rolls instead of the usual lunch out which would have cost at least a tenner. So was a nice look out and got all I needed. So no NS today :D
This pm I did all the ironing and actually got to the bottom of the pile - whoo hoooo. There was loads of stuff we never wear so sorted out a pile for charity and a pile for ebay. The ebay pile I will get started on next week.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:LOL Katie - tis a rare sight - maybe a yearly one in my house!
Well re b*ots order - only half turned up so after a rant at them I was refunded the delivery charges and another item which wasnt there and given 500 points on my card. Still a bit disappointed tho as if I had known they were not coming I could have got some bits on monday. Also my m&* delivery was only half there grrr they had gone out of stock on the other items !!!!!!:mad: so have phoned and told them also absolute rubbish on stock monitoring and I ordered xmas eve. Anyway i wont be ordering from them again and will try somewhere else. So all in all have had about £40 refunded so may pay an extra £20 off the credit card and hang on the other £20 as I need some reduced bd pressies for through the year.
We are having a quiet day today and I am going to do an early lunch then some house work. I feel really cold today and a bit bleugh, but the housework will no doubt warm me up. x
