Hmm I am sure I typed a post the other day and am not sure where its gone.
Well on the good side have sold 4 ebay items which I am going to post in a minute and tomorrow night I am going to list 5 more items.
Bad news - we are skint now so I may have to transfer some savings over to help us manage boo hoo. Also further bad news DH has been put on reduced hours and if it stays that way we will lose around £11000 in salary and overtime so not good at all. We will get some more tax credits but next year will really be a struggle to keep our heads above water. I have looked for another job but everywhere is cost cutting and there is just nothing going anywhere.:(
So will have to try and keep a tight rein on the budget. x

Eek eek havent posted for a few days how bad is that lol. Well sat and had a heart to heart with DH the other night. Bascially discussed what we wanted for our future. So we have decided on a 2 year plan and then we will be able to afford to move to a bigger house which will be our forever home ( well until we need a bunglelow lol)
    So here goes -
step 1 - clear credit cards by summer!
step 2 - try and save the credit card money which will eventually pay moving costs.
Step 3 - our fixed rate is due to end and we can switch to a better rate saving £80 per month which we can overpay directly from our exisiting mortgage.
Step 4 - all overtime goes to clearing our loan - once this is paid it will release and additional £85 per month.
Step 5 - when DH pay returns to normal try and save the excess £200 per month.
Step 6 - continue doing house up to get into a saleable condition.
We are hoping that in 2 years time things will have picked up and housing will start moving again - if not then we will have to reconsider.
If it all goes to plan when we sell we should have £60000 deposit plus moving costs saved plus an additional £600o in savings.
To enable us to achieve this I am going to be working another day per week from sept which will bring in another £120 per month.
Will also continue with the ebaying and will still have our family budget as we still need to have a life and some family fun lol. So this is the iminent plan hope it goes on course lol.
So for now focus is sorting mortgage and paying the credit cards off - am absolutely skint this month now and will be slightly in the overdraft boohoo but january is always the flaming same lol. Oh and the kids all need shoes and DD1 needs trainers and track suit bottoms so have borrowed some money from mum for these and will pay back at end of the month which for us cant come soon enough. I also have an oil bill to pay I really wish we knew what DH was going to get then at least I could sort the SOA for feb which would put my mind at rest. Anyway going to crack on with some house work and have a quick cuppa - hope everyone is well xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi all - havent posted much the last few weeks but have beeb lurking and keeping up with diaries etc. Decided to have a little break from my diary as at the moment feel we are getting absolutely no where money wise. We are just making ends meet and DH is still on reduced hours which means there is nothing for savings, extras and overpayments. I am going to try and get some more hours this month but this is not always possible and I find looking after the kids/house makes me really tired. Just feeling a bit down and trapped by the debt as I know we cant move further forward till we have cleared the credit card and loan. Anyway I will be on an ebay mission this month and trying to do extra hours which should help pull us out of the overdrafts. Not a very positive post oh and barclaycard have started adding interest so progress now even slower boohoo.
Well off to tackle the mountain of ironing and attempt to catch up on my washing and house work - hope everyone has a lovley saturday x

After a mad busy reall quick weekend full of highs and lows (wont even go into it) I have had a restful day and a nice cuppa and catch up with a friend this pm. Still worried on the money front so going to ask MIL if she will help out with the kids if I can pick up any extra hours at work - fingers crossed.
Managed to catch up on some housework, mopped floors, done some iroining and a good tidy round so at least thats made me feel a bit better.
Hope everyone had a good weekend x
