That bag is lovely, don't know if I could justify it though!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I'd buy it
Bought my Mulberry 12 years ago and still use it loads!
EH - you are absolutely paying for the kudos of carrying the bag, but they are beautifully made, honestly. I questioned paying a lot of money for bags before I bought my Radley(s) but realise now that you really do get what you pay for.
I suspect that I've been a DFW for too long to actually buy the bag I want, as it really is a barmy amount of money to spend. That being said, if I put the cash in a savings account and find a good deal in the outlet in York, then that's being a teeny weeny bit MSE...:D0 -
I was in York today and walked past the outlet shop - lots of yummy goodness in there! Didn't venture in though....Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Oh, while I remember, can you recommend anywhere for decent but not expensive evening meals in Portree? We've always used the pub in the past (McNabs?) but the food wasn't as good last year so we are searching for an alternative.
Cafe Arriba (above Over the Rainbow in the centre of the village) is a really nice wee cafe, not sure if they do evening meals or not.
A lot of the other places in the village will be overpriced to take advantage of the tourist trade sadlyI'll give you Mama Fresian's address :rotfl:

OMG, that bag is bee-you-tee-ful
Totally not MSE, but seriously, you are debt free, have worked hard to get to that stage so why not have an amazing treat like that which will last you years?

Hmmm....so there's a couple of different opinions on the Bag of Joy, I'll see how the wages look next week before I start to make any firm plans
Today has been a little MSE - I went to Tesco to stock up on a few bits and pieces, and think I found a couple of price differences that I could get their DTD offer on. I've submitted the receipt anyway so we'll see, even a few pounds would be fine by me. I got some whoopsies while I was there (bread mainly) and will now be having reduced tuna steaks for tea which I'm really chuffed about as we can very rarely afford them :j
Nothing else to report really apart from an afternoon nap which has left me a little dazed and confused

Lady I love the bag. I pass the shop here every day as it's on my way to work and if I get a job after this one and dont need to do anything with my buffer money I want to buy one.
They are very lovely and you would use it every day.
