FF - I LOOOOOVE french martinis - anything remotely vodka-ish goes down easy with me, and add raspberries into the mix and I'm in heaven!

Thanks for all the kind wishes...yes yesterday was a little better but I was very tired and still very grumpyMrsWassire wrote: »For those of us in debt, just a wee idea for inspiration. I don't know how you all budget but each month I have typed up a list of what's going out in each pay period, e.g.:
4th - £100 Scottish Power, £153 Loan, £25 savings
You get the picture! Anyway I did one today that is what it will look like when we're debt free....
We will be able to pay all our bills and be comfortable, donate money to charity, and even if tax credits got scrapped we'd still be comfortable.
It's shocking how much your debts affect you even when you think "oh it's only £100/month for that bill".
Am now very motivated to be debt free.
Have you tried CW's frugal spread sheet on the frugal living challenge thread by any chance? That's supposed to be a really good way of keeping track of things though I don't personally use it..psychopathbabble wrote: »Erme hope you feel better soon... sending you a big hug. What is PL? The overdraft is £1k... but I think I'll put money in there instead of my cc as the extra £5 has basically increased the interest.
PL - Sorry hun- personal loan. If the OD is that much it may be a good idea? Just don't get another OD :T.....You may find yourself paying less than 10% (I don't know years since I got a PL) interest. Just don't get it secured on the house...
Or else try a credit union? I'm just trying to think of ways you can get that interest down...If the OD is more than the CC - pay off the CC first and send it back (you really don't need a CC these days - not with visa debit - I haven't had one for almost 3 years I think? Don't miss it) and then work on your OD. It has a name in DFW terms - snowballing...
If you stall pay off the OD first.....see how it pans out..
Now I just currently have the OD and the PL....the OD is about £100 (and should be less soon. I'm okay with the OD so long as it's less than 100) and the PL should be just under 3k soon....I aim to pay that off this year but we'll see.....
The PL I can pay extra off if I have the monies...
Do it all online (is this really wise?) when I get paid and budget for it in a spreadsheet...

Morning everyone!
During the week I set my alarm clock for 6.45 am and each day it's a real struggle to get up. So, why is it that on Sundays I am always wide awake so early? Flippin' 5.45am this morning!!!
I left DH snoring himself silly and I've put bread in the breadmaker, 1st load of washing is on, dishwasher and tumby doing their thing, cat is fed, kitchen tidied and a £2.51 PAD made!!! Might even tackle the ironing in a sec whilst I'm on a roll...
It's blowing a hooley out there this morning so hope everyones safe & warm. Have a good Sunday!I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions...0 -
