And so the forums back up and running...can't see any differences yet. Hmm.

Anyway I've been busy this morning with signing up for focus group companies etc. I really am going to up my income if it kills me! :rotfl: DH's new DJing gig went pretty well so fingers crossed it will catch on and go from strength to strength so he'll get lots of money! :D

    Right this weeks list:
    1. [STRIKE] Update cash flow chart Done my half already just DH's to go.[/STRIKE]
    2. [STRIKE]Get organised for next week at work Working on it as we speak.[/STRIKE]
    3. File bills etc appropriately They aren't filed yet but have been put into appropriate "shelves" for filing accordingly.
    4. [STRIKE]Update MS spreadsheet for this year[/STRIKE]
    5. [STRIKE]Bring in bin.[/STRIKE]
    6. [STRIKE]Put out recycle bins on Thursday[/STRIKE]
    7. [STRIKE]Clean kitchen Half done[/STRIKE]
    8. Draw up a jobs rota
    9. Hoover stairs and living room
    10. [STRIKE]Research one to one tuition in more detail to get prepared[/STRIKE] Can't do any more till I know who I'll be tutoring and what they need.
    11. Take Belle out for 2 walks a day (mum or DH will do the 3rd). Done everyday so far...as per! :T
    12. [STRIKE]Sort clean washing[/STRIKE]
    13. [STRIKE]Put at least 2 washes on this weekend One wash on.[/STRIKE]
    14. Train Belle with car ramp. Day 1 - got her up the ramp (eventually...but she wouldn't go down it).
That seems like plenty for the weekend if you ask me! :D

Oh and I may accidentally have bought an ipod shuffle and a new battery for my laptop! Ahem. It was a bargin really though - I get it cheaper because I'm a teacher so it was £84 for the battery rather than £101 which meant that I could get the shuffle for (in real terms) £23. :) A bargin I think you'll find!! :rotfl:

Seems like plenty to me too! You are so busy, you're doing so well. You must miss DH so much too.

Would you mind reporting your finding on here re 121 tuition. It's something I think I'd like to do too but not really sure how to go about ti.

Just being nosey, do you print off your lists that you write on here or do you keep popping back? I find that if I keep popping back and get sucked into the forums and nowt gets done :o

I have them just on here. I'm only allowed to look at forums during brew breaks or I don't get to have a treat (bag of crisps/biscuit/extra brew etc). I'm pretty good at all that to be honest. And yeah, I'll defo keep you up dated when I hear more of the 121 tuition thing.

And yes, I miss DH loads. We are both working really hard and I wonder sometimes if it's worth it. But I guess it's only for another 2 years...well less than now. I get all my holidays with him as well...so I guess we are much more fortunate than some people. Besides, he could be in the forces or something where I'd be worrying about his safety as well. It's swings and roundabouts! :D

  • Hey twinklie!
whew that does sound like quite a list for the weekend! I think if I kept mine on here I wouldnt be as disciplined in not spending ages surfing the forums rather than getting anything done! ;)
you must miss DH a lot , how long until he finished his PhD? is the idea that the mortgage will have been paid off by then? not the same situation at all but often we can go without seeing each other for a few days due to being on differnet shifts all the time so it can be tough - at least you have belle to keep you company/occupied!! :rotfl:
I have to ask -how does being a teacher give you discounts on an Ipod- may need to re-direct my career towards education! ;)
    have a great weekend

you must miss DH a lot , how long until he finished his PhD? Finishes contact stuff and will just have write up from Nov 2012. is the idea that the mortgage will have been paid off by then? Erm, no. The 2017 is the target - before would be a bonus. not the same situation at all but often we can go without seeing each other for a few days due to being on differnet shifts all the time so it can be tough - at least you have belle to keep you company/occupied!! :rotfl:

It was the battery for my laptop I got the discount on...so if you take that off the price of the ipod it reduced the cost!! Ha ha. Sounds more exciting having the discount of the ipod rather than the battery. We get discounts of Apple computers and software. :j

Erm, everything has gone by the by this weekend. Done nothing at all this afternoon - just watched tv. But at least I haven't spent any money (if you ignore the whole erm, little purchase this morning). Ahem.

DH is sorting out putting his vinal onto his laptop for the new djing job so I'm all alone...AGAIN. And NOBODY in the entire world appears to be online. I'm very VERY bored.

Ok I've managed to get sorted for the week ahead at school. I've bagged a MS to help me fill up my car...it all helps. And I've applied to be on a focus group on Tuesday which would bag me £50 if I got it. FINGERS CROSSED. It's only an hour and a half and it's online as well. We shall see.

    Now it's time for house work...BOO. :(
