Right, long tiring day...feeling all snotty and have a sore throat still as well. All was ok with school...a few dramas but all sorted. Students are FINALLY acting on the things I've been saying and I was WELL chuffed with their performances. :)

Went shopping after work for food and bumped into my bro inlaw. Things aren't looking good for his marriage. So that was a bit odd. He just started telling me all this stuff and to be honest I didn't know what to say. So I just tried to be reassuring and remind him that he's always welcome round at our house etc. We'll see what happens I guess.

Got home and opened a letter telling me that the pet insurance is paying out straight into my bank account in a few days. Can't believe how straight forward the payout was. Maddness. Still, hopefully I'll have some pennies left over in the bank this time next month! Fingers crossed!!!

Thanks guys. TYO, it's DH's brother I was talking about - he's not discussed it with anyone in the family so it's a bit of a delicate situation. So not really sure whether I should discuss it with DH when he gets back.

Had a really long day at school 5 hours of year 7 due to a "special" day at school. It was really good and the kids loved it. However, my teaching assistant ditched us at break and never came back...bit of a nightmare considering one of the kids NEEDED her and that's why she was meant to be there. She's just put up on Facebook about what a brill day she's had getting her hair and nails done by the year 10s.

I AM FUMING!!!! If I'd have done that what would happen....I'd be in MASSIVE trouble. I can't even explain how cross I am.

Once I've calmed down I'll put up a more logical post. :rotfl:

Ok I clearly gave up on posting last night. I was tired and chatting to friends on facebook, before a relatively early night.

I have so many mystery shops at the minute I'm a little confused. Two today, one Friday, 3 next Sat, 1 a week monday, and 2 others mid Feb. It's quite hard work doing MS and teaching full time at the same time. :rotfl: Fingers crossed I don't mess anything up.

Ooh I received my Gap timer in the post this morning as well which I'm excited about. The new phone I got (a while ago now) doesn't have a split timer anymore so this should make my life a tad easier. :)

Today should be a nice day. Going to meet one of my best mates of all time and his little daughter (she's 1 next month) for a brew and a catch up in town. Then I'm going to do a MS whilst DH watches football. THEN, I'm off to DATE night...which also doubles as an MS visit - so it's free! Woop woop.

Probably work most of tomorrow though...boo. And DH needs to do his TAX return at some point. Boo. I feel very positive today despite feeling pretty grim snot wise.

Just transfered £1500 out of my ISA to pay off one of the credit cards more. It's really upsetting to see all my hard earned savings slipping away. Boo. Still, I'll get it built back up. Paying off these cards is a priority though. I am currently without a non credit card safety net now though. :(

Note to self...save more!! Although I don't know where this saving is going to come from. :( Come on exam marking...you know you want to give me a job.
