Hey Grandma i am defo back for good!

Hope i stick to the forums like glue, as i have been in my free time recently..love getting a drink and sitting down, feet up with laptop on browsing and learning from the forums...with the odd bit of support!!

WOW 270 hours a week is very good going!
Thats a 9 hour day, every single day for a 30 day month!
That is dedication but watch you dont do too much...no point doing 300 hours a month for 2 months then needing 10 months off due to serious injury caused by being half asleep on the job etc!

Theres a line somewhere, fair enough push yourself(as i like to think i do) but tone it down when you find yourself hitting your limits and boundaries.

I think il be doing(pretty close) to 270 hour week in the following few months but i will be making sure its worthwhile and i have plenty to show for it, which i will....
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

Hi everyone! Will have to read back and catch up with you all. I have been abducted by DT lately!

Lots of no spend days for me as I didn't leave the house until Sunday but then we went out for my son's birthday and I paid. Fortunately just a short hobble to and from the bus stop.

Spent a bit in Mr T's today.

I keep trying to send this and my PC won't play... Glad your foot is starting to become less swollen, Rubytuesday.

Years ago, my mum used to go mad for TJ's (she's now too old to travel there regularly) and when she came to visit me in the West Country she kept pointing at stuff in the shops and telling me (VERY LOUDLY) that everything was cheaper in T J Hughes. She would even glare at the shop assistants as if it was their fault. In the end I asked if she could stop because a) there was no point, I couldn't shop there and b) it wasn't doing anything for our popularity. :o In fact I said I never wanted to hear any more about being able to buy a sofa for a penny at TJ's. So Mum stopped going on about it and went home but then retaliated by sending me a card and inside the card was a long poem about the marvels of T J Hughes. And she wonders where I get my 'attitude' from. :rotfl:

That has really made me laugh! Thanks!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just typed - and lost - a huge screed. Too tired and achey to do it all again, so I'll just say thanks for all the kind thoughts. Apart from aching I'm otherwise fine thanks (with a good bruise to show for it! - not that I'll be displaying it!)

  • Oh errrr... just found out my friend might have been scammed :( I've been trying to warn her all evening about the scam that is dropshipping but I have a horrible feeling that she is still going to do it.
It is making me feel horrible because I can see whats going on but she doesn't believe me. What more can I do though!

Lola, I've been a member of Capital Credit Union for years:
http://www.capitalcreditunion.com/content.asp?section=1 (Edinburgh, the Lothians & Borders) - I've found them great and have money deducted direct from my wages (never even miss it).

I only pay in £10/month but once my bike's paid I'll be adding that money too.

I'm not sure what credit union you're paying into but you should certainly get some interest paid!

If you're doing it by paying someone else, please, please get a receipt (no matter how well you know her) as I know someone who did this and the money didn't all reach their account - it was a load of hassle, impossible to prove what had been paid and ended up with many friends falling out with each other.

Yeah, she takes out the amount u tell her on a friday (payday) and pays it all on saturday mornings and brings in the reciepts same day and leaves them for u behind the bar. i work every saturday night so i can collect mine then.
i'll double check but im sure the leaflet didnt mention any interest...

I drop ship and it is not a scam, someone orders something through my site and I pay someone else to send it out - it's easy, makes me pennies but it works.

Is she joining a particular scheme or something you can google to find out more about? Then point her in the direction of your research?
