someone please tell me that I have not got the sort of money needed to buy the pair of shoes I want! unless there is a way to get them a lot cheaper - do amazon codes exist?

Link to the shoes you want/need and I'll see if I can use my Google-fu to find them cheaper :D

sorry to put temtation your way :-) I think they are the autumn winter collection so with any luck they will get reduced soon!

oops Treds have them for £50, and they take paypal..... I'm going to go and try them on in town tomorrow cos with any luck they won't fit, but I have a bit of paypal money......
  • Evening all, wow, I caught up reading on Friday night and haven't been near the pc since so another reading frenzy to get up to date!

Apologies if comments are a bit out of date and I will have missed some things....

Lola - Looking to do a Degree in Business with Info Sytems, full time course full for 2011 entry so would need to wait to Sept 2012 to start (which feels a long time away - and if I did it online through an English Uni, I could be finished by then)! Brilliant news on your laptop:D.

Minnie - most of my debt was paid off through working a 2nd job and using ALL that money towards them, no hols for a very long time, car boot sales, ebay (bought clearance stuff and resold at a profit etc). Long hard slog but worth it - just wish I could clear this beeping overdraft!:) I've tried loads of survey sites too but never get through the qualification questions (single, no kids - obviously I have no opinions or never shop/buy anything!)

Inspirespirit - Freecyc*e is fantastic! I got a carpet for my spare room and it's great.

Very good for hoarders (like me) as I just cannot throw things away that still have use in them - I've got rid of things like coal buckets/fire tools/guard etc that I don't need in this house and loads of other bits & pieces.:o

    Sandra
    - glad DD and DH are on the mend, you've made me giggle as always!:D

    Dizzy
    - I had a cortizone injection in my ankle a couple of weeks ago and walked the dog after work today and realised that I have no pain in it, it's horrible having it done but it just feels sooooooooo good to be pain free I forget about it (until the next one looms):)

23rdspiral - hugs, chin up and things WILL get better.:)

Welcome to all the newcomers, great to see more and more people joining in.:D

Hugs and sympathy to all those who are injured:grouphug: or under the weather.

SoW in need of serious updating, sitting here with loads of receipts to enter in and I cannot find my pen-stick (think one of the cats has pinched it again - it has a neck cord attached to it and they think it's great fun to play with)!

Most budgets are underspent but still over on my groceries/pets and looks like fuel will be added to that list:eek:.

Bit depressed as been to hospital appointment this afternoon and consultant thinks I've got Ankylosing Spondylitis (form of arthritis) - was sent for LOADS of x-rays and feel I may have exceeded my radiation limit for the year!:( Waiting for results and will be awful if he's right but it would be good to have a proper diagnosis so I can deal with it.

   Opened another tab and quoted and replied to loads of posts then accidently clicked the wrong tab thus getting rid of it all!!!!!
Will try and remember what I'd said...not in any order now.

silvasava so sorry to hear about the bees.

rubytuesday, winchelsea and 23rd spiral big hugs to you with the poorly ear, foot and hips :( Ooooh painful.

rising from the ashes glad the cortisone helped with your ankle pain. My thumb is definately less painful but it still locks which is annoying. Sounds like you've been through the mill at the hospital Hope the diagnosis isn't arthritis. icare.gif

Hello to fishcake and Aril and welcome to rictus :hello:

your daughter has good taste...Cath Kidston, dreamy

Spent a bit of money this weekend on material and craft items. Will keep me out of mischief for a while. I am definately not spending as much on groceries so I'm quite pleased with myself.

    Big hugs to everyone
