I have a Nectar card, but didn't know that, that's very useful thanks! :T Now I just need to find my card... :o:rotfl:

Note to self: Must get a cashback credit card/Tesco credit card too! :D

I have got a cashback card but the rate is poor now so I should really get another.

can also download the nectar toolbar which then puts a popup on top of each online shop saying can go thru nectar if signed up

Vaguely recall reading an article about it one time - wasnt it a daughter of Esther Rantzen that had ME or something? - and this worked miracles for them. I just remember my overall conclusion was "Worth a try for anyone in that position..".

It may or may not do the same for other peeps of course.

Dont think its very secretive! it does cost a bit of money though!

The idea from what i remember is they get rid of the adrenalin etc

my friend hadnt walked for many years either so they had to work on changing her thoughts too, after they had sorted the ME so that she wasnt still in the mind set that she couldnt walk.

They also teach you process to do whenever you so wish if you ever start to feel tired again etc

Im sure my friend would be happy to email you about it!! She was bed ridden and in darkness for 10years industrial headphones to block out all sound window blacked out and a mask on, no light.just laid there and now shes at uni (10years later than planned) having a whale of a time.
Thanks a mill Ceridwen and Minnie.
That's really kind Minnie, I'm so happy for your friend. I think I've been improving a little - I have had some setbacks but I still think I am making progress. I'm going to check it out and see if there is anywhere in Ireland that does it and if it's not too dear then I might try it.
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

:hello:Everyone. I am going to pop to Lidl soon to see if I can get the veg offers.
I may be naughty and have a charity shop mooch too.

I found that last week I only spent half of what I spent the previous week so I am very pleased!:j
I need to get a pin reminder for one of my bank accounts as I want to put a little money in it each week as I'd like to go to The Scilly Isles for my fiftieth treat next year. I used to go as a child and loved it.

ps Flying Fresian what is PAD, sorry not up with the lingo!:rotfl:

Ceridwen thanks for that link I was diagnosed in 2004 but I seem to be doing ok now most of the time. I find the more I do the better I feel. I spent most of 2007 in bed , also due to Bipolar depression but now walk nearly everyday and have started swimming. Obviously one mustn't over do it but I'll have a read of that.

So sorry you had such a tough time. Well done on the exercise!
I was the opposite, the more I did, the worse I got and stupidly I ignored it. Now I am trying to balance my rest and activity and I think I'm making progress.
