I've seen KA which was amazing, a really assault on your senses...this time I think I'd like to see Love. Must start pricing up tickets.

we quite enjoyed the mix restaurant at mandalay bay pre show menu
food was good but view was outstanding

What type of food and what is a reasonable price?

It's Vegas - there are more food options than you can possibly imagine pretty much wherever you are.

There are several Mandalay Bay restaurants on restaurant.com too. Current code is ENJOY for 70% off until 24th Jan...then the 80% off code will likely come out.

thanks folks I had a look at MIX it seems a bit fancy for me I am more of a steak and chips man. i quite like the idea of restaurant.com vouchers and may go that route

Came across this forum yesterday and spend my day off reading the 2011 forum and reading the trip reports - i would like to say thanks to all whom have posted some really great ideas i am gathering for my honeymoon. We are doing a mutli trip LV, yosemite, SF NY, we are spending 7nights in NYNY.
I have a few question ( i apologise as i cannot see them covered)
Which show of circus do you recommend ( i know this will be a personal q) we havent seen any so want to see one which is either the original or similiar - or ideally the best
Are the outlet close to the strip - do you need a car to drive or is there a bus you can get ?
    Many thanks Lynsey

The Deuce akes you right to the Outlet Mall, I've usually found that does me nicely, Levi's, Hilfiger and Tmberland shops for a start. Usually spend a fortune, my 3 girls search them online and prepare their shopping list.

If you're down the bottom end of the Strip then you've got to do the Town Centre Mall includes an Apple shop, across way is Frys electrical a whopping great electronics store always worth a browse and decent prices.

As a one of visit there I'd always use a cab unless you're driving. Bu I'd do all 3.

The Deuce akes you right to the Outlet Mall,

I think it's the 'Strip and Downtown Express' - formerly the ACE, formerly the Gold Line - that goes to the outlets (north and south) now?

If anyone is going to the outlets, I took Luci's advice and signed up for their VIP club (free) on their website which gave me access to additional discount coupons to print and bring with...very handy.

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Most suites only have 1 king bed and then rollaways foe extra guests.

Do you need 4 beds or 2
Only 1 bed to be honest, it's really just so we can all get together for a few drinks there before we go out
  • Hi I've been lurking on here for a while. I've got a couple of questions. Been to Vegas many many times like most of you. Normally I book flights and then hotels direct. However, Ive been looking at ebookers for June and their package (hotel and flight) prices are coming up pretty reasonable. My question is.....has anyone had any issues doing this through ebookers? Quidco offer 8% cashback has anyone actually recieved payment from them? Also Gold Coast good or bad for a lone traveller?

Also for the record I always fly direct. I tend to travel alone so Im always that person on the end of a 3 seat. I can assure you Im a delight to travel with. I move as soon as you need me to and Im only little so I dont sit on top of you hahaha I fly direct because of various health issues the less time travelling and none of that taking off and landing a couple of times is why I travel direct.

    Thanks

I've just booked tickets for Kylie's Aprodite tour on 22nd May. It was supposed to be a surprise for Tony, but he's found out already. Never mind...

If it's just for meeting up and not for actually sleeping then a Bungalow Suite or Celebrity Spa Suite at the MGM might suit. It has a wet bard with a sink and fridge for mixing drinks and a large sitting area as well as the bedroom area. I think it is 694 sq ft.

Nice one pebbles. Trust Tony to find out. How did that happen? I didn't think Tony bothered with the pc.

He phoned me when I was booking them, and he guessed what I was doing. He usually just comes in to the computer room and catches me unaware, but he's in Spain and wondered why I was being evasive when he called. It took him about 5 minutes to guess.
