We did the GC the first time and we were only there for 4 days. And it was a fully day trip with a bus to lake Mead and the Hoover Dam then a plane from Boulder City over the canyon.

We have mentioned going back, but by helicopter this time. However we've never managed it even on 14 day trips.

Hi everyone, Just after some advice really. My husband wants to take me and our daughter ( will be 1 in april) to Vegas to celebrate our 30th's in march/april next year. We have been to vegas 3 times before, twice in jan and once in may but this was before we had our little girl. I remember seeing children in vegas but didn't really pay much attention. Im worried that a lot of hotels will not allow her in them (i know they have to stay away from the casino) but hubbie thinks we will be fine. What do you think? we have stayed in Wynn, Encore, MGM and Aria before. Does anyone have any experience taking children to vegas?

    many thanks

The only hotel I can think of that has a restriction is Wynn where strollers are not allowed unless you are a guest of the hotel.

There are always people with kids in strollers on the strip even late at night.

Bellagio has the same policy I think...not sure how well it is enforced.

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

  • Still trying to decide on a hotel for a trip to LV in either Jan or Feb 2011. Virgin have good deals but it seems much cheaper on lowcostusa. Looked on tripadvisor but the Top 10 there is either hihg end or smaller places that do not come up on the holiday offers. Currently looking at between £850-£950 for 6 nights at either Vdara, Belligio or Venitian? Any thoughts?? Cheers

Venetian for me. I got the Vegas bug again now trying to save my Tesco vouchers to pay for holiday again, managed to get £700 off virgin holiday saved up so far this year. Will take another year at this rate to make it worth it though!
