MarchYou can just do one night...but its miles away!!! although of course the pancake house is there. Seriously I also like it there..but it is miles away..or have I already said that:D
I know, I know...I'm kind of in the same place...but
it's a really good deal, I think.
pancake house
could tie it up with our WalMart/Best Buy run as we regularly stop at GVR on the way to our favoured WalMart/Best Buy/Mall stop...
They have a cinema, I think, maybe? Maybe I am making that up...
Pancake house
it might be nice to try one night away from it all...just to try...
Pancake house.
Oooh, and isn't there a Cheesecake Factory in the District shops? And maybe a PF Changs?
maybe more making things up...must research!Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

OctoberAfter being told by both AA and BA that we could not pre book our seats on the BA Vegas flight (AA codeshare) I looked again last night on the BA site and guess what!? Managed to get a pair at the backThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

We've just completed 9 nights in Vegas to celebrate my 40th. 2 couples joined us from UK and American cousins hooked up for the weekend.
So in no particular order, this is what we got up to...
Joan Rivers at Venetian. Hilarious, offensive and very, very funny. I just love comedians that are prepared to speak their mind. It was summed up by 3 old people walking out halfway through !!
Absinthe, Caesars:Indescribable and utterly amazing. Fantastic acrobatics mixed with hilarious comedy. It is everything that Cirque is not and long may it continue.
Mac King: snared $17 tickets from Tickets4Tonight. Can get them cheaper from TotalRewards but take passport. Super afternoon show well worth seeing.
Maggianos: great Italian food at Fashion Show
Isla:equally great Mexican and had Groupon
Tony Roma's at Freemont: ribs to die for.
Parasols Down at Wynn:an oasis of calm in a crazy city. We love this place as it is a secret albeit expensive place to relax at sunset
107 Lounge, Stratosphere: get here 30 mins before sunset. Costs nothing to go up to lounge saving $ compared to visiting 1 floor above to watch rides.
Paris Eiffel Tower: again, get here before 7.30pm and use 2 for 1 coupon from 24/7 magazine. Great views of City. Also, got some hilarious pictures in booth afterwards.
Binions Horsehoe: we all posed for Austin Powers moment with $1 million and free pictures too.
Freemont: great light show and different world from Strip
Queen Vic, Riviera: Rugby World Cup Final and Manchester Derby. 2 wins out of two !!
Outlet Mall, North: worth a visit but know your prices
Tunnels: avoided them both ways. $20 to and from T.I.
T.I. Hotel: stayed in Tower Suites again. Great stay and internet worked well.
Pinball Museum:superb visit and all proceeds went to Salvation Army. Glad I did this instead of GunStore.
Vegas Sign:take walk from Mandalay as buses don't stop there. We did a group tribute to Bruce Forsyth !
Blackjack: $200 down from $750 bankroll so pretty happy. Saw some really bad players splitting 5's, 10's etc
After 5 visits, IK think we'll give it a break and let Vegas re-invent itself a bit. Feel free to PM me if you need any advice.0 -

lowcostusa is ABTA/ATOL certified so you would be protected if you book a flight + hotel package deal.
It gets a bit more complicated if you book flights and hotel separately, but it seems you are booking a package, so you will be protected.0 -
MayI don't think booking flights and accommodation with lowcostusa is a true package as defined by the Package Travel Regulations, ie one lump sum price. It would be a dynamic package with each element priced separately. However pay by credit card and you would have Section 75 protection.0

MayHas anyone on here flown via Minneapolis airport? Or Atlanta?
The dates we are looking at have suddenly dropped in price for indirect flights which is great but the cheapest is via JFK (we'd rather avoid that) and the orthers seem to be minneapolis and Atlanta.
The flights are with Delta and KLM (operated by Delta) Any comments would be greatly appreceated.0 -
