Hello again, does anyone have experience of trying to get seats booked on virgin flight please, we've received our e-tickets (8 in group) and it won't let us pick our seats, no seat plan comes up, phoned them and they said it could be because we're a group booking? Thought a group booking was over 10? Thanks again for all your help, we fly week today.

Thanks for taking the time to post this - but TripAdvisor gives the wrong property when you search by All-Suites

We will be staying at the Tropicana All-Suites on 5101 W.Tropicana. Confusingly, TripAdvisor call it the Tahiti Vacation Club but rank it 62 out of 281. Expedia gives it 4.3 out of 5.0 which is not too shabby, and other reviews I have seen are generally pretty favourable. But nothing beats getting the info you see on this forum!

only 60% of seat requests are available for pre-allocation, once that quota has been reached you wont be able to allocate seats until online check-in opens 24hrs before your flight.

I have noticed that sometimes the seat plan opens a couple of hours before the 24hrs, just keep checking

so you know how there are plenty of reports of people reserving a Mustang convertible and being disappointed when there isn't one available in Vegas? Imagine our surprise to see this roll up on the tow truck in replacement of the Kia Optima we had problems with...not yet in Vegas, no...but still. And no, we haven't yet figured out exactly how we are going to deal with our luggage on the way back to O'hare for our flight to Vegas.

we managed to fit a large suitcase (each) on the back seats and we were still be able to put the roof up

if you have more than a large suitcase each, then good luck - the boot space is pitiful

I'm hoping for a bit of advice about the Grand Canyon please. I have looked at options but really what I'd like to know is- is January ok to take a flight? Is it something I should just leave for another visit? It's a lot of money and I don't want to be disappointed.

We flew end Dec/beginning Jan to GC from LV on Scenic. Its absolutely fine.......just wrap up warmly!!!
