Can I ask a quick question please, just about to try booking our seats on Virgin Atlantic, which do you think are best please, there's 10 of us so trying to book together if poss, only bog standard seats though!!!lol

Check out https://www.seatguru.com for advice on layouts and seats on your flight. if it's a block or group booking then give VA a call directly otherwise you may well struggle to get seated together.

Location.....opposite PF Changs, just up the road from Hard Rock Hotel. Breakfast $3.99 with a Players Card…..filled a hole (loadsa stodge on offer......I now know what chicken steak is I think.....reconstituted brown meat from the chicken.......can recommend Einstein Bagel bakery on Maryland (right in UNLV country) for toasted sesame bagel, smoked salmon, cream cheese and a nice cup of British Breakfast!!!

Do you mean chicken fried steak??? It is actually tenderized cube steak that is then coated with seasoned flour and pan fried. Nothing to do with chicken in the dish itself!!! ROTFL

Probably got the name from the similar preparation as fried chicken. It's generally served with mashed potatoes, cream gravy and biscuits. Yummy :)

aaaaand now the craving for chicken fried steak shall commence.

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

    ;)

One of the things I miss the most living over here is country / cream gravy...just can't get the right kind of sausage over here to even make my own. So sad.

Which country are you in? Might be able to suggest some type of sausage that will work.

UK - but I'm American so I like my American food-stuffs!

I have never found anything that's right...but I am more than open to suggestions!

well it does - chicken fried steak...so steak, cooked in the manner of fried chicken. :)

I can see how it's confusing though...and sometimes you see chicken fried chicken on menus.

This is like when my MIL ordered the 'Big Chef Salad' at NASCAR Cafe...and it was this monsterous salad and she was all suprised...and I did remind her that the menu did say 'Big Chef Salad' and she thought it was a big chef, not a big salad...not realising that 'chef' is a type of salad.

    Hi all

in Vegas just now (31st floor of Tower 3 at the Signature - bliss!) and we brought a cheap Epson printer with us for coupons etc (has saved us quite a bit so far). I know it's a bit OTT but it only cost a couple of £'s and we had plenty of luggage space coming out and last time kept saying 'if only we could print this out' so we came prepared this time!

Anyway...we won't be taking it back with us, so in true money saving style if anyone in this forum will be in Vegas on the 20th (we leave super early on the 21st :() we'd be glad to pass it on.

Philly cheese steak for me please, everything on it, fortunately I could be eating one on Sunday, unless they have a chuck wagon at the fireworks Saturday night!
