Just looking at stay costs for our visit in Oct/Nov, right in the middle of SEMA 120,000 delegates, ouch. Platinum are not giving much away so won't be staying there, can't even get a good rate from Carriage House
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

It'll be our third stay at PH and we've always been upgraded, just by asking nicely :) If it doesn't work this time I think I'll be trying the $20 trick though!

We must have just been unlucky when we stayed there and they put us in the awful elevator room...shame as we would likely stay there again if we knew we had a good chance at a resort room, but too risky for us. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Wedding date booked for May 18th 2012

Time to start planning the honeymoon.

Does anyone know do AA and other airlines do regular sales the same time each year or can they just be random?
  • We're off to America in October and spending one night in Vegas, Planet hollywood (more as a stopover on our way to LA). Hopefully, as we're only staying one night they might upgrade us with the $20 trick.

We've already been to vegas before so seen most of the usual sights including Mac King and KA which was fun. Seeing as we're only spending one night there, can anyone recommend something we must do/see that evening?

    Thanks

Calling our resident Ballys expert Ferf.

I know you like Ballys and I'm torn between going back to the Flamingo or trying Ballys-Any thoughts ? Be Febuary so pool isn't an issue -will be doing stuff at the Flamingo with friends but I'm thinking Ballys isn't that far )the other option with TR is Rio which I haven't ruled out either yet.
    Oh I'm so undecided :)
