Staying at the Encore, got hree last night with BA (nice flight, food left a bit to be desired but oh well..) Does anyone know what the situation is with the resort fee at the encore? No one has mentioned it, and I have read it includes wireless internet in the room but when we went to connect it said its $13.99 per 24 hours? xx
I am at the encore at the moment! For Internet just put your name and room number in on the page where it says $13.99 and the charge gets deducted from your bill each day. Been here since Monday using it and it's fine. You can always call front desk to reconfirm this if you're worried. Annoyingly the wifi doesn't work at the pool or in the casino though (stayed at the Mandarin at Xmas and their wifi worked throughout city centre)0 -
MarchJust starting trolling the events for when I fly out next Saturday.
Found an interesting one for free at 7pm-10pm on the 17th out at Lake Las Vegas, Their 4th of July fireworks show was rained off, they are doing it all again.
One place I've not been out to so I'll probably take a mooch.0 -

Agree with duchy - call and confirm, but we have not been charged for internet access recently - pre-resort fee yes...but not since...I think they have not updated the details when you try to connect.
There should also be a book of hotel information in the room - that may confirm - but call reception and double check.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

SeptemberWe fly out tomorrow, I am pretty excited now it seems to have come around incredibly quickly.
We are stopping at the Vdara which should be nice as we are there for 10 days so it will give us chance to chill out. If anyone wants anything finding out about the Vdara please feel free to ask.0 -

January / FebruaryHi Porthorg
First time we went we did the plane tour and hated it, half the plane were throwing up (luckily not us but wife really felt bad) Second time we drove to the west rim and we are doing that again in 2 weeks. I love the way you can just sit on the edge and dangle your feet off the edge. My parents did the south rim on a coach tour and the pictures all had railings in them which would have spoilt it for me.weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0 -

You'll have to let us know what you think of Vdara - I'd booked there originally for our trip in December but the $500 security deposit they said we'd have to provide at check in (for a week's stay) put me off, along with the snotty email I got from one of the staff....rooms look beautiful though.
I've booked PH with the free Starbucks daily offer now...can't wait0
