  • Ha! you can also see why the cowboys won, that chap in the white has a target pinned to his forehead?

Knee brace and Nike shorts part of the traditional native dress.

So wrong on so many levels, sorry but work is driving me to distraction.

    haha.

I got about 2 yards from the edge and that was enough for me.
Made sure the camera was tied securely around my wrist then pointed my arm out as far as I could to take a pic of 'below'.

Wife will kill me for posting or even using t'interweb on holiday but she's in the jacuzzi and I'm flat out drunk on sofa watching seinfeld so...

I wasn't offered this deal... Though its what I wanted. Instead I was offered 10 dollar free or a spin on the big wheel. We both did it. Wife got 5 dollar free credit... I got 100. Woohoo!

Chances to win 500 max prize, 2 wickedspoon buffets and other stuff. Apologies for any lack of comprehension... Take care guys. Will do a full update on our return :)

You could have took up both offers (different days). You still can if you are still there. I got offered the $10 free..won $30 and then the next day I planned on losing $100 and then head to the players desk for them to credit $100 freeplay, but put in $50 and came off with about $80 and as I get bored playing slots I called it a day

Any information on whether I would be charged for leaving my hotel (Luxor) a day early? Have paid to stay 6 nights but are looking at checkig out after our 5th night and trying the bellagio or venetian on our last night.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    As stoneman says...call them

How did you book who with etc, you may be able to get a refund for the last night

    Hi,

The Las Vegas sign - never been and done that - yet! Think we should this time. How far from the Mandalay Bay is it, should you just get a taxi? There will be 4 adults and one child, but thinking if we're at M Bay then wonder if it is walkable, I'm thinking not or we would have done it before?

    Thanks in advance

I wouldnt walk it in the heat, and not with a 4 year old, prob wouldnt get a taxi either though, as someone else said if you are getting a hire car , do it then

Wimp:D Myself and my brother in law climbed down in to the canyon about 50 feet and walked out to on to various ledges...I was a bit scared though:eek:

Your strap reminded me of when we first took our son to the GC and we walked along the edge with a reign attached to his arm and then tied him to a tree near the edge to take a pic :T

Is it safe to assume you went back and untied him?

In my earlier career, I used to work in a variety of jobs that needed a head for heights including toshing steelwork, sitting upto 150' on a girder holding on with one arm and leaning over to paint the underside. that was hairy enough but I called it a day after working off a flying scaffold on a windy day cladding and painting silos. My bottle has well and truly gone. Still hasn't stopped me doing stupid things to earn a crust. But stand in that picture in front of the camera......No way.

Don't know if anyone has used this but it may be of interest to some.
Palms doing $50 worth of slot credit for $25.
We use this company for slot credits on cruises, never had a problem with them.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Yep, two different things completely. Also with the lose $100 in a day, it guarantees you putting 100 points on your card, which allows you to enter the daily slot tournament which for a few mins of your time is a guaranteed chunk of dosh onto your card ....you get something even if you come last!
