And be sure you know what you are betting on the multi-line slots...having accidentally bet $10 a spin more than once even if you do know what you are doing it's easy enough to make mistakes. :)
A mate a few years back is playing 1 cent a spin very slowly just so we can all get a drink off cocktail waitress accidently hits max bet at $2 a spin wins $400

Great trip report. Glad you enjoyed Scoot City. We might do it again if we get another Groupon.

Congrats on the engagement. My brother proposed at the GC and married in Vegas 2 days later.

Agreed, brilliant report Adamg! Loved reading it and if our holiday is half as good as yours sounds I will be very happy :) Big congrats on the engagement!

Did Las Vegas from 13th to 17th August staying at NY NY. Have to say I was awestruck by the size and beauty of some of the hotels but OMG the strip at night was right in your face at 100mph! Got really fed up of pimps asking my hubby if he wanted a lady for the night. Thought that was against the law. Although I liked Vegas I don't think I will be going back in a hurry!
We finally did it! Debt free 28/6/10 :T  :T

    Massive Congrats Adamg!:T
I have my fingers crossed for another Scoot City Groupon before we leave as it has such rave reviews....

We'll be mid-flight in 50 days time and I feel like it just can't come quickly enough. (Our respective Hen & Stag this weekend - both keeping it pretty low key)
    Married in Vegas - 25th October 2011!

Scoot City was amazing, being the only people doing it we must have looked so rich with our own personal tour guide. Mid October not sure what weather will be like but it was 110 degrees out there that day in morning, would not have liked to have done the afternoon tour in heat of day. There is no shade at all as soon as you get out of visitors centre. As someone said before its much more like riding a motorbike then driving a car you dont know what to do with your feet in there. They supply all the water you need as well. I may well go back again very soon, just been looking at prices for christmas and new year but a bit to much. Got enough tesco vouchers again to get a holiday in benidorm over christmas for £100 each so will probably end up doing that for now

We did the early sccot tour last middle october, i took a hoody with me as thought it may be cold but was really warm by 9am and was scorching by time we was half way round, ended up buring my head, lol!! We too both really enjoyed it and like everyone else would advise anyone who gets chance to do it!!

Just been looking at Scoot City but it just looks to be driving the road through Red Rock Canyon. Am I missing something ? or have they shut the road to cars now ?
We always go out there at some point in the holiday just to escape for a bit
