thanks for the info - an interesting idea.

I'm sure that some business centres do charge to accept a parcel for a guest - pretty sure that when we have posted parcels we've seen incoming parcels on the pricelist (and I know for certain that if you post a parcel from a hotel's business centre they charge a fee on top of the standard postage or FedEX costs as we've done it several times - but savingsover posting from the UK is very significant - and sometimes we are too lazy to go to a post office), but not sure if the cost would outweigh the savings - probably not as the savings over the prices in the UK is quite a lot...will look into it as it's an intriging option.

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I have posted a question about withdrawing cash on a halifax clarity card in Vegas versus a prepaid card on the currency thread.

I now understand that withdrawing on a CC from an ATM in vegas can incur mega charges.

Has anyone on here withdrawn cash on their Clarity Card and found that to be the case?

16Gig Wifi, big enough for what I want it for. We already have the iPads but this one is faster, lighter, thinner, records HD video, and has a better screen. Platinum has never charged us for receiving packages. Tracy has ordered stuff to be delivered there before, and she has a Sephora online delivery going there this time as well.
I never thought that a hotel would charge for that, I mean most strip paces are supposed to be 5 star hotels and that would be part of the included service in such high end establishments. Obviously you would have to phone your own hotel to find out.

Or you could stay at the Platinum, get a better room and your mail delivered for free.

No, I just checked my statement when we were away we withdrew $2700 and got charged £2.12 in interest. This was due to making payments via wifi soon after the withdrawals

Humble pie and Betfair have my fiver....I wish.

Juda put a couple of decent shots in and when that didn't close events then he seemed to just give it up. Nice win for Khan, what more can I say, my only consolation Nathaniel in the King George.

I'm interested in this too - where was the ATM you used? Was it one in a casino or somewhere else? and you're sure that there was no fee built into the withdrawals? When we withdraw cash on our debit card we may withdraw $400 - but on the statement it comes through as $404.99 - the $400 withdrawal plus the $4.99 fee for using a debit card at ATMs that charge $4.99...it doesn't split out the fee separately.
