    July
I'm really worried about the virgin pilot strike,i have just read online that they think it will be in july(i'm booked to fly out 14th of july) with the dates released tomorrow:(

i really wouldn't worry, it's now down to Virgin/Branson to put a better deal together for the pilots, so they'll all be meeting asap and trying to sort it out. if anyone knows how that would damage a brand, it'll be RB I'm sure!

Virgin pilots have never gone on strike before, and there hasn't been a pilot strike in the UK for 32 years.

Hotels will also give you a discount booking, although only small but they will help with booking events, tables etc etc.. Weve used Total Experiences via Ballys webpage and booked hotel rooms which will be on the same floor. They give you a sign in code so you can leave actually booking the rooms until the week before, they basically pre book a block of rooms dependent on your numbers.

But how do the rates compare to other discounts readily available online? Have you checked the prices for your dates against the Hot Deals rates or the Friends and Family rates?

We were on the 26th floor of the west tower at the Cosmo and had a great view of the fountains. I think anything from the 20th to the 30th would be good. Higher might be too high.

    Flying with Virgin from Manchester

Just for anyone who's interested I've just got back from Vegas flying from Manchester with Virgin, we flew premium ecomomy and it was great.

I managed to get seats "upstairs" and there was so much room. The cabin did look tired and a bit shabby but it was the best long haul flight I've ever had, although that could have been down to my new travel sick pills and the tranqilisers I had got from the doctors. All in all a thumbs up from me.

The missus is on some similar meds, if she is all "doped up" from tranquilisers will they let her in to the USA? lol I worried she's gonna take too many as she's really not a flying person as far as she says (last time would have been 5 years for her) and for me 4 years. - i love it! :rotfl:
